Giant breeds especially welcome! 🐾
Lover of animals of all sizes! But most often, you’ll find me happily flattened to the ground by my “house cow” (my 150 lb Newfoundland, Hugo). I’ve had pets and loved animals all my life. In my younger years (before I became middle-aged and appropriately dull), I worked as a firefighter/EMT. I’m calm in chaos, quick to notice when something seems off, and very good at handling emergencies without panicking or letting things spiral. At home, I’m also a mom to a very busy and enthusiastic toddler (who will be at home with her other parent while I visit with your pets). So, I’m used to loving creatures who don’t always listen but get lots of affection anyway 😂💛

Trust is incredibly important to me - and I’m sure you feel the same, too! As a former first responder, I’ve spent a lot of time in people’s homes in situations where they relied on me to provide excellent care. The difference here is that, instead of taking great care of you, I’m giving that same level of care/attention to your furry pal. If you’re anything like me, you’re highly scrutinizing over who watches your babies when you can’t be there - rest assured, they’re in good hands with me. I’d love to meet you to see if I’d be a fit for caring for your dog, cat, bird, or critter!

Schedule
When I’m not spending time with animals, I work as a manager in public policy on behalf of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I’m available to come care for your babies on evenings and some weekends. This is a fun way for me to spend time around animals (my favorite hobby) and make a buck or two to give right back to Chewy in exchange for more treats/toys for my own spoiled pets. It’s a vicious cycle, am I right?
