I have a deep empathy for the disposition of pets. When you're gone, the world around them falls apart. Animals have been there for me when I've felt the same and I'm indebted to return the favor! I grew up with a passionate dog loving family and have been around golden retrievers, black labs, and shelties since infancy. Walking, bathing, and training them was something that always filled my life with joy. In 2019, I adopted Rosie, a 7-year-old Maltese poodle, who became my Emotional Support Animal. Soon, I learned that Rosie was quite anxious herself! Over the years, I've learned how to read her nervous signals and help her cope in stressful situations. As she ages, I’ve adapted to taking care of a senior pet with arthritis treatment and teeth care.

Safety, trust & environment
Each animal has a unique personality and the care they receive must be catered to it. To gain their trust, it’s important to match their energy and give them space until they are comfortable. I pay close attention to their behavior for signs of distress and will investigate their signals and environment to problem solve. That being said, it is also very important to pay close attention to instructions provided by their owner - I will not be fooled by smarty pants trying to score extra treats!

Schedule
On weekends, I am typically unavailable any later than 6PM. On Wednesdays, I am unavailable from 10am to 3pm. Flexibility with time is always appreciated but happy to meet your scheduling needs as best as I can!
