Hi, I’m Kaitlin (Kait(y)) some may know me from when I was on a hobby farm in Kawartha lakes, I have however moved now but am still in Cameron and on 1.5 acres. From my past farm life, I am experienced with all different animals. I have a large fenced in backyard with room to roam and explore. I have 2 dogs of my own, My older dog’s name is Bentley and he's an australian shepherd who is 8 years old and is fixed and up to date on all shots etc. Hes my bestfriend and is well natured and good with other dogs. I also have a mini Aussie puppy who’s up to date on all her shots as well, she is deaf and vision impaired, she started off as a foster and then my partner and I decided to keep her. I volunteer at the humane society in Lindsay in my spare time and bring dogs home from there for sleepovers etc and day trips/walks to let them get out and gain some experience in a home setting when I can. My dog Bentley has always gotten along with any dogs hes come across even from the humane society. I went to school for animal care years ago as well as the Paramedic program. I have experience with all different animals from being on a farm however dogs have and will always be my favourite. Ive had many dogs growing up, I cant remember a time in my life without there being a dog around. I also have taken in lots of puppies and dogs of all ages over the years from mills and fostered them and found them homes. I would keep every dog that I've come across if I could but giving them the best while I can has always been the goal. I will treat your dog like one of my own and we will have all the good times together with lots of pictures and or videos taken and shared with you 🙂.

So happy I found such a wonderful sitter for our dog! Kaitlin was able to accommodate me on a very short notice and when I dropped Bix off, it was clear she was in loving hands. She is home happy, tired, and tail-wagging — which tells me everything I need to know. We won't hesitate to book again with Kaitlin! Kaitlin was fantastic for our Bulldofretriever cross, Titan was comfortable and happy and very well taken care of, we were provided with tons of pictures and will definitely be asking for help again when it's time❤️

Im currently available most days and times unless already booked up. I have all the time right now for playtime, walks, hang outs and sleepovers with your dog(s).

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard. I like to go into Fenelon falls for dog walks by the water and if the dogs like to swim we can do that to! Or I live on a Quiet road where we can go for walks as well. I have 2 awesome dogs who will be there to keep your dog company and be less anxious on their stay. I can work on crate training if needed and I also have a Furbo dog camera if I do have to run out ever the camera will be on to be able to monitor if ever needed. I will send lots of pictures and videos throughout the dogs stay, I can also try and work on leash skills or anything that you would like to have done with your dog etc. I have lots of experience with dogs of all types and training levels as my boyfriend is a dog trainer in the kawartha lakes.

A typical day
Lots of walk time available. I live not too far from Fenelon Falls rail trail and I live on a quiet road so thats always an option to walk the trails there. My backyard is very large and fenced in and has room for unleashed play and running around in. Dogs will not be unleashed outside of the yard ever. I do as well have a kiddie pool for the backyard in the summer time if your dog likes to swim or for any hot days, I also have lots of dog toys and we can play ball or frisbee, whatever your dog loves to do :) .
