Pet sitting is my full time job and passion. I prefer to keep a flexible schedule to allow for school pickup and extracurricular activities. All dogs that board with us become part of our daily routine with playtime, meals, and downtime.

Safety, trust & environment
In our home, we have a designated dog room with kennels, beds, cots, and access to water. When we are home, dogs hang out in the main living spaces with us and can be let out on an as needed basis. Dogs with destructive tendencies are required to be crate trained for safety. We have two separate backyard spaces. The side yard is mainly used for potty breaks. The main yard is used for small and/or senior dogs as well as playtime for the larger dogs.

Information Kaite V. would like to know about your pet
No breed restrictions. If your dog has behavior issues, they need to be disclosed so both your pup(s) and I have a fun, safe time together.
A typical day
Our main yard is large with grass and plenty of things to smell. With space for fetch and zooming around, even the most high energy pups have no problem getting worn down.

Knowledgeable and Experienced
Pet care experience
Greetings to you and your furbabies! I have been a professional pet sitter since 2012. I have tons of experience and am comfortable with all types of animals (any size dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and farm animals). I try my best to keep your pet in the same routine, make sure they eat, take medication, and get any exercise they need. I worked for a pet sitting company for 5 1/2 years then moved on to be a vet assistant for almost 4 years. I realized I wanted to be home with my kids more so now I have free time to do pet sitting again! My home is a small zoo and is currently occupied by 3 dogs, 3 cats, a bearded dragon, and two children (7 and 12). Outside I do have two sulcata tortoises and chickens in a predator proof run. I do request that your dog(s) be friendly and have no aggression issues. I can provide bowls, kennels, beds/blankets, and treats. I do not provide food and do request owners bring their own. Walks can be provided. Your dog(s) must be leash trained with minimal pulling.
Reviews

Our dog loves going to Katie's and is always well taken care of :) She is our #1 pick when looking for someone to watch our dog!

Very responsive when I was away, loved the photos she would send!

Simply the best pet sitter around! Kaite always took amazing care of my pup and treated her like family. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing I could completely trust and count on her every time we were away. She was reliable, caring, communicative, and clearly loves animals. My dog was always happy, comfortable, and well cared for with her. We truly couldn’t recommend Katie enough — thank you for everything you’ve done for our family and our pup!

Took very good care of my pet and updated me with photos during my trip.
