I currently work from home, and I am present at the house the majority of the day. I go to the gym as part of my daily routine but I’m rarely gone for longer than 3 hours. When dogs stay at my home, they have my attention and definitely my dog’s attention.

If your dog is sleeping over I ask that you bring a crate. We feed separately in crates and, in my opinion, it’s important for your pup to have a space that is their own. Our yard is fenced in, and we’ve reinforced the areas that even the sneakiest of escape artists can get through.

What is your dog’s recall like? We kennel pups in our home when we leave—how does your dog do in a kennel? We also have our dog sleep in her kennel at night, will that be an issue for you? Dogs are allowed on couches, but we don’t sleep with them in our bed. Can your dogs have treats?

When pups stay in our home it becomes a day of play, nap, play, nap, play. We have plenty of treats and toys and a wonderful yard to play fetch in. Depending on the recall of your dog, there is a park nearby I take the dogs to for games of fetch.

I grew up owning dogs. We always owned at least two. I currently have a very active pup who loves socializing with other dogs. It is always a pleasure to have another dog in the house for her to play with, and often the two dogs learn a lot from one another.

We are so so impressed with Kait’s services. Her home and family (pups and husband) were just what our little old man of a dog needed. Kait was very accommodating and mindful of Sig’s habits and behaviors and assured us often with honest updates and pictures. We wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again to have this great home be Sig’s home away from home.
Kait is such a nice person and did an amazing job caring for Katie. She sent a daily update on how Katie was doing which put us at ease while we were away. Her dog Murph also played so well with Katie! I already have Kait booked again for the future and can’t recommend her enough. :)
