I have had ALL types of animals over the last 40 years, including puppies and senior dogs. Not to mention cats, kittens, rabbits, raccoons, guinea pigs, horses etc. There's been plenty of training and boundaries involved.

Kairouan was wonderful to my senior dog! I felt like he was in great hands and treated like one of her own.
Kairouan did an amazing job caring for our German Shepherd while were were away for several days. Gus gets anxious when away from home and typically comes home scared and all out of sorts after being at a big kennel. I can tell how incredible she is with dogs because Gus settled right in and looked so relaxed and happy in the pics she sent us. The fenced in yard was perfect and he loved playing fetch and time cooling off in the pool. She made him feel right at home! Gus came home so calm and relaxed. I highly recommend her as a top notch Rover dog boarder!
Kairouan always takes great care of our girl! She enjoys playing with her dog and running around in the yard. Plus, she’s able to cuddle on the couch in the evenings just like her at-home routine. Kairouan did great managing her Fourth of July anxiety too!
Kairouan was so great! She was extremely accommodating with pick up and drop off. We had no worry whatsoever that Ruger was not in good hands. We highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again when we need!!
Thanks again Kairouan for taking care of our two Chocolate Labs while we were attending a wedding in Grand Forks. We have a young Lab and a senior Lab and Kairouan welcomed both will open arms. I’m not a big fan of boarding my dogs, however We left them here knowing they would be taken great care of. It was definitely worth some extra miles to know our dogs would be treated like family here. I would highly recommend having your dogs stay here!
Kairouan was great with our dogs. She has a perfect home with a breezeway that has a doggie door going into a large fenced yard for the dogs to play in. We received pictures daily of our dogs relaxing and playing with Kairouan’s beautiful Golden retriever Roo which we appreciated getting. I would highly recommend Kairouan to anyone that is looking for a pet loving sitter.

I'm retired and have grown kids but do some part time work now and then. I have a very flexible schedule and set it myself.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 6 ft privacy fenced yard with a dog door leading to it. I also have a baby gate that separates the family room the dogs stay in from the rest of the house if they are not cat friendly. I have a two year old golden retriever that loves to play and we are in the backyard often playing with her toys.
Pets
A typical day
I believe dogs need to be stimulated and get plenty of exercise. This helps their mind and body. Activities helps keep them from getting bored and destroying things. I love playing fetch with them and have lots of balls and toys including squeaky toys. I will take dogs for walks if they are trained and well behaved when walking, Otherwise, it's a lot of yard exercise.
