**I just started going back to school to get my masters in counseling. With going back to school I will not be available for evening drop ins/walks on Tuesdays.** I do have recurring walks during the afternoon but have a few spots open. I have a lot of availability in the mornings and evenings for drop ins. I service the Andersonville, Uptown, Edgewater, and Ravenswood area (60640 and 60613 zip code). Please note; I take public transportation so I ask for windows of time . If the time is set due to meds I will accommodate accordingly. If you are looking for recurring walks during the week and you're in my service area; I would love to help out! These are the time slots I currently have available (30 mins): Monday- 10am, 11am, 12p and 1p Tuesday- not available Wednesday- not available Thursday- 10am, 11am, and 12p Friday- 10am, 11am, 12p, 1p and 2p Currently booking for summer ⛱️ Book early because spots fill up fast! 💛

**When I care for your pet, they are covered by my personal sitter's insurance, as well as the Rover guarantee. ** I do require one complementary meet and greet (15-30 mins) before the booking. During the meet and greet I will always make sure to ask about your pets' schedule, what their needs are, what behaviors they usually display, and how to best support them in any environment. My number one priority is making sure your pet is safe. ⛑️ I took an online course through red cross and have a certificate on first aid for cats and dogs

I want to know what comforts them, what their favorite toys are, if they take any medication, where they love to walk, anything that can be helpful to me, so I can give your pets the best care possible 🐾 **For house sitting and drop ins, I send an intake form to make sure I cover any and all questions that may be needed.**

🐱🐶 For drop ins, I love to play with any toys your pet may have, to give them the stimulation they need. I would also make sure to give them lots of pets and attention. 🏠 For house sitting, I will be providing overnight care and will try and do drop ins throughout the day (based on my schedule for the day). I usually will not be gone from your home more then 5-6 hours at a time (total hours gone a day is usually 8-11ish hours). I always clean up after myself and make sure to leave the place tidy and clean. *I am unable to provide constant care* 🐕🦺 On walks, I am making sure your pet has plenty of time to smell everything and get a lot of exercise. I am going to update you throughout the visit/walk with cute photos and important information. ** For constant care just during the day (not house sitting) I charge an hourly rate of $20***

I grew up surrounded by pets (dogs, cats, birds, rats, mice, frogs) throughout my childhood and I was very active with their care. I currently have my own dog (Rossy; a hound Chihuahua mix) who loves walks and can be very high energy when he wants too, even though he is 13! I also have two cats; Rain and Coral who I love dearly! Rain has the classic tortie-tude and Coral is a big lovebug who loves showing off her belly. I am a huge animal lover and have been obsessed with caring for them since I was in elementary school. I have now been providing pet care fulltime for two years. I have gained valuable experiences and have worked with a variety of dogs and cats! ✨Get to know me✨ • My name is pronounced Ky-ra. • I am originally from Colorado. But I have lived in five other states and one other country. • I have a bachelor's in criminal justice and sociology. • I am happily engaged with my partner of 6 years. • In my free time I love to read, be in nature and go to new events/festivals. • Before I was a full-time pet sitter I used to work with children. • I do about 20,000 to 30,000 steps a day on average as a pet sitter.

Kaira is an incredible cat sitter. She went above and beyond to take care of our cat when we were out of the country, even taking him to the animal hospital for us when he had a health scare. Could not recommend her enough.
