I grew up with two dogs and now share my home with three cats, so caring for animals has always been part of my daily life. I am deeply committed to giving them abundant love, attention, and a safe, nurturing environment — and I extend that same care to every pet I look after. I have hands-on experience supporting senior cats with complex health needs, including kidney care, digestive sensitivities, medication routines, and careful monitoring of appetite, hydration, and litter habits. I understand how essential consistency and routine are for older pets and those managing chronic conditions. I am comfortable administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions with precision, gentleness, and reliability — ensuring your pet’s routine remains stable, calm, and stress-free in your absence.

Kaining did a fantastic job taking care of my two dogs for a week, as well as taking care of my home. She administered medications to both my dogs. She was very responsible, kept to their schedule, played and snuggled with them! I would recommend her to take care of your fur babies.
Kaining was everything we could have asked for and more! She took wonderful care of our home and pets and kept us updated on how they were doing - all three of our pets were so at ease with her! We were able to truly enjoy our time away knowing how happy our and well cared for our pets were.

When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their established routine to ensure they feel secure and comfortable. I follow detailed feeding schedules, provide fresh water, structured walks or playtime, and keep litter or potty areas clean and well-maintained. I pay close attention to appetite, hydration, energy levels, and behavior to catch any subtle changes early. For pets with medical needs, I carefully follow all medication instructions and monitor them closely. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and consistent environment so your pet experiences as little stress as possible while you’re away.

A typical day with the pets I watch is fun, attentive, and centered around their comfort. In the morning, I make sure they’ve had a potty break, fresh water, and breakfast, then spend time playing in a way that matches their energy — whether that’s a relaxed stroll, gentle fetch, or interactive toy time. Throughout the day, I check in often, give cuddles if they enjoy it, brush them if needed, and keep their space clean and cozy. In the afternoon, we might do a short play time or quiet companionship, and in the evening, I help them settle with dinner, a final potty break, and calm, reassuring attention so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. 🐾
