I grew up with a wide variety of pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and fish), have been pet-sitting an even wider variety (parakeets, turtles) since I was a teenager, and also trained service dogs for two different organizations in college. I am currently the go-to pet sitter for most of my friends and family because they know I will treat their pets like my own (i.e. happy and spoiled). --- I have experience with pets in all stages of life, as well as those with special needs. If your pet takes medications or has a complicated feeding schedule, I can easily handle it (bonus points if you provide detailed notes, though!).

Kailey is a wonderful petsitter! She is great with all of our animals, and they love it when she comes to see them. Kailey is very responsible, and we trust her to always do exactly what we ask of her; whether it is just a quick drop in or a weekend stay. Kailey is our go to pet sitter for all of our animal care needs.
Kailey is a breath of fresh air. No drama and no worries during her time helping me with my dog. She was very sweet to him and he loves her! Kailey makes sure my boy is loved and taken care of when I can’t! 10/10 would recommend.
We’ve had Kailey watch our dog before, and he absolutely loves being with her! He’s always so excited to see her and comes home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. She’s always been amazing with animals and treats every pet like her own. We never have to worry when he’s with her!
I’ve used quite a few pet sitters around San Antonio, and while many have been reliable, I can honestly say that the peace of mind I have when my dogs stay with Kailey is second to none. My dogs love staying at “Auntie Kailey’s,” and I love knowing I don’t have to constantly check in to know everything is okay. Her home is warm, welcoming, and pet-friendly, with a secure yard that my squirrel-crazy dog especially loves. What sets Kailey apart from other sitters is how attentive and in tune she is with animals. She understands pet behavior on a level beyond simply providing food, walks, and cuddles. She has even recognized symptoms in my dog that I hadn’t noticed yet—and that’s because she has truly seen and experienced it all. In fact, she's the person I call first when I have concerns over my pets' health or behavior! Kailey has extensive, lifelong experience caring for animals, including those with all kinds of medical and special needs. I’ve personally seen her care for and rehabilitate sick and injured pets, doing whatever it takes to get them walking again and always taking in the neglected / stray pets who need help. She is knowledgeable, observant, and compassionate when it comes to any animals needs. She even has a blind cat of her own! Caring for animals isn’t just a job for Kailey—it’s something she genuinely understands and loves. Not only is Kailey my go-to pet sitter, but through our working relationship, I can also say without hesitation that she is THE most organized and thorough person I know (going on 4 years!). Your pets will be safe, happy and healthy with Kailey's crew!

Schedule
I am an office worker with a hybrid schedule, so I’m only in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I am available for boarding and drop-in visits most weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Safety, trust & environment
I own a small, single-story home with a large, fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of walking trails and parks nearby. I strive to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all. Pets are also welcome on the furniture (I mean, where else will those snuggle sessions occur?). --- I have one cat and two dachshunds, so my house is both cat- and dog-friendly. I provide several cat trees, scratching posts, and litter boxes throughout the house. I also have multiple dog crates, as well as ramps up to the bed and couches.
Pets
A typical day
I like to start off my weekday mornings with a walk with the dogs through the neighborhood or park. After we return, it’s time for breakfast and playtime in the backyard. The dogs have access to the backyard and various toys/chew bones/snuggles throughout the day. In the evenings, it’s time for dinner and another round of playtime in the backyard. Sunday mornings are typically spent going on dog-friendly hikes.
