When house sitting, I typically do two long walks a day (~1 hr/each) as well as trips out to the backyard. If your dog likes to hike, please let me know as I would love to go on an adventure with them!
Information Kailey D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I need to account for. Particularly if I need to give medication or if they have aggression towards other dogs or people.
A typical day
I love getting outside and will take your pup on walks through the park or hikes along the river. I also love to play fetch inside throughout the day and teach them new, fun tricks. For social dogs, I enjoy taking them to dog parks where they can meet other dogs and get out their zoomies.

Pet care experience
I am a seasonal worker in Jackson who misses her dog at home, and I'm hoping to fill that empty space in my life by smothering your furry friend with love! I've been a dog owner and lover practically my whole life. I grew up with border collies, so I learned from an early age how to care for some of the most energetic dogs. I helped walk, feed, and clean up after them, and of course mastered how to throw a toy over and over again. In high school, I got a border collie puppy named Cinder. She was a handful as you can imagine and required very frequent walks and attention. I potty-trained her within a week and taught her everything she knows (basic commands like sit/down/stay, how to catch a frisbee, play dead, crawl, etc.) However, she was a very shy and timid pup, which eventually turned into aggression towards strangers. I met with several trainers to help her and learned a lot about dog behavior in the process. Today, my friends like to call me a dog whisperer because I am great with nervous dogs. Professionally, I have taken care of non-family dogs for the past 10 years through neighborhood connections, including walking, daycare, and overnight services. I have experience with dogs of all ages, ranging from playful puppies to senior care involving strict medication schedules.
Reviews

Kailey was prompt & professional. We felt very comfortable that Maddie was in good hands. We received pictures and documentation of walk. We would use Kailey again-two 👍🏻’s up!

Kailey has been a fantastic dog walker and house sitter! She has exhibited true concern for my animals (Golden Retriever and Maine Coon), and has gone above and beyond to provide wonderful care. She takes Milo on lots of great hikes, making those days some of the best in his life! She is also an incredibly nice person with whom to interact. I highly recommend her and will continue to request her when she is available!

Kailey did a great job, was on time, and did exactly what she said. Thank you for giving our pup love
Excellent!
