I work early morning-early afternoon at Snoqualmie Pass four days a week (S, M, W, F). I am in Ellensburg the remaining days. Unfortunately, my cat does not play well with others, so I am able to stay at the client’s home but not host at my own. My cat has a great independent care system (much like herself) which allows me to be gone for long periods of time. Willing to travel anywhere in Kittitas County!

I am able to stay overnights at your home if requested. Your pet will feel most comfortable in their own familiar space. Should an issue arise, I can contact your veterinarian or chosen emergency contact. I am able to transport with my car.

I will add a charge for mileage. I want to help clients all around the county but gas is expensive! If the one-way distance is: 0-5mi: No charge (I’ll probably walk or bike!) 5.01-10mi: $5 per day 10.01-20mi: $10 per day 20.01-30mi: $15 per day 30.01mi+: $20 per day *** Paper instructions are super helpful for me, whether it’s preferred feeding times, food specifics, behavioral traits, or activities they like. I will follow instructions closely.
A typical day
Depending on the pet’s needs and energy level, we will be outside and active, going on walks or playing with toys. I love playing fetch and tug! For less-active pets, we can hang out together, watch movies, brush their fur, perhaps some snuggles if they get comfortable :) Overall, I will give them quality time and attention so they feel cared for and you have peace of mind.

**On hiatus as of 3/1/26, messages will not be responded to** Hi! I’m Kailei, a recent CWU master’s grad living in Ellensburg. I have been pet sitting for friends and faculty for the last 3 years, but grew up with cats and dogs. I also spent time volunteering in an animal shelter doing pet care. I am available for day or overnight care and have experience with dogs, cats, and smallies (guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, etc). I am skilled in cleaning, feeding, leash handling/walks/playtime, and some grooming care (nail trim/brushing down). I enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds… even the shy or stubborn ones. I have a background in exercise science/physiology and am also a cat mom to Ozzie, a 7 year old lovable loaf :) I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Kailei did great with the dogs and helped us out in a pinch. She spent the full walk time with them (even when they resisted the leash walk or didn’t play fetch as they sometimes do) she still spent the full time letting them be outside in the yard which is the most important thing for us— that they get that much needed outside time when we have to work all day. She follows instructions well— and we appreciated the photos of our happy pups when we’re stuck at work.
