I treat all fur babies like family!
I currently have Dogs and Cats and Chickens (Chickens are in secure run). For my entire life I have been devoted to Rescuing, caring for and loving animals. Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Rabbits, Goats, Horses, exotic Birds, Reptiles, Rodents, small Mammals and Fish...I love them all! I have extensive knowledge of many species and am well versed in caring for medical and special needs pets. I have worked as a dog trainer and Animal care specialist in various positions. I have fostered and rehabbed many dogs that were scheduled to be euthanized and have socialized them to a point of being placed in forever homes. I'm comfortable working with shy/nervous/fearful animals and have never failed to gently gain their trust. I trained my dear Cheyanne who passed the Canine Good Citizen test and became a Doggy Ambassador and we Volunteered for the San Diego Humane Society in a special Public School Outreach program. I have rescued many senior dogs and gave them their best life for their last years. I'm adept at administering Drops, pills, ointments, sub-cu fluids, and doggy/kitty first-aid; as well as for other species. I have worked as a Fish and Wildlife Bio. Sci. Tech and have a broad range of knowledge of many species. I would love to make a new friend in your pet and with you!

Kaila did a great job for us. Our dog Chloe is a rescue pup - a large retriever mix, about 6 years old. She's a good dog, but has problems with separation anxiety. Kalia stayed with her for two weeks while we visited family. She played with Chloe and took her for walks. She kept us posted on things while we were away. When we got back, the house was cleaned, laundry and dishes were done. On previous trips, we put Chloe into boarding kennels. To her, the kennel was too much like jail and she didn't do well. With Kaila, Chloe was able to stay home in familiar surroundings, and she had someone who would regularly interact with her. We highly recommend Kaila, and we will use her again for our future travels.
Kaila did an excellent job watching our pets. The tribe loved her!!! We would highly recommend her to our friends and family and have already book some additional time with her
Kaila was wonderful with our two dogs! She worked really hard at making our pups comfortable with her, getting on the floor and playing around with them. She gave us detailed notes and pictures for every visit and always kept us up to date. She even picked up in our backyard! She enabled us to not worry about our dogs while we were on vacation and helped us relax. We would absolutely hire Kaila again and plan to do so whenever we have our next vacation.
Kaila is absolutely fantastic with animals. She truly cares and does a great job playing with my Belgian malinois to keep her exercised. She's energetic and caring, and I couldn't ask for better.
Kaila’s kind and compassionate heart for animals is clear from the moment you meet her! She was an amazing caregiver for our pups (one of which is almost 15) and the fish. She kept us up to date with pics throughout her stay with them & left our home so clean and tidy! She even went the extra mile and got our garbage can to the curb even though I’d forgotten to mention it. 🐶🐶😁😁

Schedule
I am home much of the time. I can sit in your home or mine. If it is in my home your dog must be cat friendly.. my cats are very dog savvy but dogs need to be good with kitties. I am very flexible and willing to sit for multiple animals in your home for a flat fee we agree upon..not extra per pet. (I will modify the fee after you request a booking but before you Submit payment.)

I have a 6ft wood fence and dogs are never left unattended. I live near a walking trail and Park so that's an option as well. If your kitty likes walks in a stroller or being brushed; I'll be happy to spoil them.

A typical day
Lounging, playing, treats, walks and naps...snuggling, exploring, or couch potato. Whatever your Pup or kitty enjoys..we will do! If you board a pup with me; We have a park and a trail nearby through Zintel canyon!
