I have had dogs around me my whole life. I got my first puppy when I was 7, and I have had a few more dogs since then. I have always loved dogs (my first word was 'Ruff', according to my mother), and I love to be around them and take care of them. I have a lot of time on my hands and I would love to take care of your pets while you are at work or away. My dogs, Petra and Hilda, are my biggest hobby and favorite companions. We spend hours walking, training, and cuddling every week. I work from home full time (mostly to spend time with my dogs at home). Having grown up with dogs, I have experienced every phase of their lives, from puppyhood to senior care. I have experience administering medications, navigating post-surgery care, training puppies, etc. I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your pet!

Our dogs had a great time, and Kaija was great about keeping us updated with stories of their adventures and pictures.
Chai had a great weekend! Kaija and Cal yook great care of her, and she loved playing with their dog.
My dogs had a great time. They paired up perfectly with Kaija's dogs, with one being playful and the other being chill. They came home happy and ready for a nap.
It sounds like our dog may have whined a bit but Kaija was gracious and told us not to worry. She has a big yard and comfortable place for dogs.
We had a wonderful experience with Kaija and her family! We felt that they treated our dog Mia like their own - even while dealing with some major weather issues! I highly recommend booking a stay with them and will definitely be doing so again in the future!

Schedule
I work from home full time, so I can take whatever time needed during the work day to let them outside, play with them, feed them, or whatever else they may need. I have a lot of free time after work, and I love to spend that time walking, playing, and cuddling my dogs.

My home has a large fenced yard, so there is plenty of space to play outside. I have the space to crate a pup if needed, and no carpet, so accidents are not a concern (for those with puppies). My dogs absolutely love having other dog friends over to play.
Pets
A typical day
On a normal day, I feed my girls when I get up in the morning and let them outside. We come in, hang out while I work for a bit, then go for a walk. They either sleep or want to play throughout the work day, so I play when they want and work when they sleep. After work, I feed them and take them out for another walk. We have a nice park with paved trails near our house, so we tend to walk around there. After our second walk, we will play in the yard or inside, do some training, or hang out at home. We typically feed them right before bed. Then, they sleep on the bed, the floor, or in the kennel. Sometimes, we go to the dog park, or hike, or go for car rides to friends' houses for fun.
