Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or visiting theirs, I treat them like part of the family. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a pet owner’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, or just some quiet company. I’m attentive to their body language, energy levels, and any special needs they may have, especially with older pets or puppies. Cleanliness, safety, and respect for both the pet and the home are always top priorities.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours that I can account for. I’m more than happy to help out as much as possible when it comes to more specific situations. I have previously worked with dogs who needed medication so I have experience when it comes to hiding their medication in a cheeky sausage or which ever method works best for you :) I am well with reactive dogs on walks so no need to worry if your furry friend gets a little anxious when encountering other animals. If you have any training procedures you’d like me to keep on top of please let me know every little thing helps for your furry friends as I would love to provide top notch care as if they’re my own :)
A typical day
I love keeping pets both mentally and physically stimulated! Depending on their personality and energy level, that might include fun walks to explore new smells, games like fetch or tug-of-war, basic training refreshers, or enrichment activities like puzzle toys or treat hide-and-seek. For older dogs, I offer gentle strolls and plenty of cuddle time. I always try to match the activity to what each pet enjoys most—because happy tails and wagging butts are the goal!

I took on the role of main dog walker, making sure our pups were well-exercised, bathed, and fed with love. Three years ago, my dog and I completed a 6-week puppy training course, where I picked up a variety of techniques for handling dogs and encouraging good behavior. I’ve cared for senior dogs who need a bit more time, patience, and attention—whether it’s during a walk or a quick drop-in visit—and I’m just as comfortable with energetic puppies too. Every dog is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their unique personalities.
