I am an experienced veterinary technician, dog walker, dog boarder, and overnight pet sitter who loves meeting and caring for animals. I love bonding with each dog that comes to stay with me! I always try to find the best way to minimize stress while their owner is away. For some dogs a good long walk and a play session in the yard tires them out enough to relax. For others they need a nice cuddle session on the couch and a couple of treats. My goal is to make your pets feel at home, comfortable, and safe. I want to make your life easier and put you at ease when you have to leave your pet behind. You can always know that your dog is in loving and capable hands when I'm around. My wife, Marliss, is also a dog lover and between the two of us your pup will be showered with all of the attention they want! I have been around all varieties of dogs since I was a small child. I have been around the sweet, the shy, the ill, the needy, and the chewer. I know how to be assertive with dogs without being aggressive. I have a calming presence and dogs tend to gravitate towards me. I am experienced with dogs as a registered veterinary technician. I’m very comfortable with giving any medication to your pup. Oral, topical, injectable: you name it, I've administered it. We have a fully fenced back yard and love to hang out with our pups in the hammock. If your pup has a tendency to run for the hills just let me know, and we will make sure they are leashed and secure any time the front door is opened.

Kai's place was perfect for our small dogs, who both loved relaxing inside or hanging out in the yard. We really loved how Kai took the extra effort to make our two shy dogs comfortable. Kai was super communicative and sent a ton of cute photos during our trip. Would definitely rebook!
Kai did a great job at making my dogs feel at home. She sent pictures most days showing my dogs enjoying their space and looking relaxed. I would definitely use Kai again!
