Until mid-August my schedule is very open and flexible. I am home most of the day and have time to spend with pets and taking care of their needs.

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks. One of my favorite things to do is playing with dogs in a yard or at a park. I am always interested in finding new activities that stimulate the dogs brains.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a "zoo" and currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, foster kittens, and 4 birds. I started volunteering with the Berkeley Animal Shelter when I was in elementary school, and worked with cats of all temperaments and have been fostering kittens since 2017. With my family I have fostered over 100 kittens. I have been cat-sitting for the last 7 years. As part of volunteering at the animal shelter, I also worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, and have done some dog-sitting as well.

Kai is incredible! Communication was easy and she was so reliable. We have a senior cat that needed lots of special attention and a complicated feeding instruction, but Kai was able to administer everything the old kitty needed each day, with reports showing what we needed to know. She also noticed the old kitty was losing appetite and flagged it so we can change up his diet in the middle of the booking. We really appreciate the attentive care. We also have another very shy female cat in the house, and Kai was able to approach her on day three!!! It was extremely special.
Kai was great!
Kai was a spectacular sitter for my girl Mia. Mia is an affectionate cat but it’s clear that Kai has a real gift for caring for animals. This won’t be the last time she sits for Mia, and I know Mia can’t wait to see Kai again!!
