In May, I graduated from Westfield State with my Masters in Counseling. Currently, I am working as a Crisis Clinician from 3-11 pm on Wed-Sun. I also work remotely for Westfield State and their will be days during the summer where I will need to be in-person from 8 am-2pm. When I'm not working, I am spending time with loved ones or taking care of my dog, playing with him, and making sure he feels loved. He is fed twice-a-day, goes on daily walks, and he gets all the cuddles and love that he desires. I am currently available to dog-sit as long as your pet is able to be alone for +8-10 hrs (unless my partner is available to assist and drop-in partway through my shift). I can do drop-ins/walks in the mornings before 2 pm (depending on distance). My dog won't mind that I'm cheating on them with another 😁.

Safety, trust & environment

I make sure that they are well-fed, walked, played with, and happy. I let them out to the bathroom almost every hour or two, to make sure that there are no accidents. I know how to be gentle with elderly dogs and I'm not afraid to give your fur baby their medicine. I make sure to follow the house rules and that your furry friend will abide by them too.

Information Kage S. would like to know about your pet

Things I'd like to know: - Is your dog food aggressive and have they ever bitten anyone before? - If I am staying overnight, am I allowed to eat any of the food in the house or would you prefer for me to bring my own food? - Where are the cleaning supplies if an animal makes a mess? - Where do you keep the food and the treats? - Where are the leashes/harnesses if I want to walk the dog? - Does your dog have any triggers? Even if it's something weird. - Do they get startled easily/hate loud noises?

A typical day

I will take your pet on a walk around the neighborhood or even to the local park so that they can get out whatever energy they have. I will play with their toys, go out in the yard and run around with them, and even give them snuggles and lots of pets. Whatever you'd like me to do with your dog, I am more than willing to do it.

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Kage and I love all types of animals. The more playful the better! I am very kind, trustworthy, and responsible. I just graduated w/ my Masters in Counseling and I currently work as a Crisis Clinician from 3-11 pm on Wed-Sun. I've house sat and cared for many dogs, multiple times for family and friends. I've been animal-sitting my whole life. I have lots of experience taking care of young animals and senior animals. I have never met a dog that I didn't like and vice versa. I have a dog of my own, Koda (9) that I take for great walks at Conant Dam. I would be a fantastic choice to watch/walk your precious fur baby!

Kage and Lauren are so great. We've used them for over a year now from drop ins, to full house sitting. They keep us updated on everything, big or small, and it's really reassuring when leaving our boys alone with people. We're 100 percent planning on booking again whenever we need them, thank you guys again!!!! Definitely recommend if you're looking for someone reliable.

Kage was great with Stella and Luna. Each drop in he gave a detailed description of everything along with photos. He had good base knowledge of cat behavior which made us feel comfortable right away. 10/10 recommend!

This is the first time we’ve ever had an outside person come to our home to care for our pup and it was nothing but a positive experience. From the meet and greet to the drop-in, Kage exceeded our expectations. His kindness and professionalism impressed us; he followed all of our instructions to a T, (our dog is under a medical protocol and needed special care) and his update at the end of the drop-in was very reassuring, detailed and thoughtful. We will not hesitate to have him come back to take care of Josie!
