I just recently moved to a new area, so I am very open on my availability at the moment. I will update as things change and if I am currently pet sitting at that time, they will take priority of course and I will work out detail with you guys during that time. My home is a little different. I express my cat Wybie’s bladder myself and change his diaper daily. My other cats get their little box changed twice daily. Wybie loves his automatic feeder while my other cats get fed their moist food once daily and have dry food as needed. Every cat is different and I’m up for however you prefer to feed your babies!

Please let me know of any medical history important to the health of your animals. I would like to know of any allergies that the pet has or even potentially has. I need to know any medication that the pet is on. If the pet has had history of seizures or heart issues, please let me know ahead of time so I can avoid anything that could potentially cause any harm and make sure I am aware of medication this pet has to help if something were to happen. Let me know of any aggression towards people or other animals.
A typical day
This would depend on the owners' preferences. I love walking and playing with the animals. I can take them to the dog park, on nice long walks, or even stay around the house and play fetch. I can do whatever makes the owners feel more comfortable leaving their pets in my care.

Pet care experience
WHO AM I ? : I am a Virginia Tech 21' graduate with a degree in Dairy Science. I have a combined 8 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and kennel technician in Virginia and Alabama! I have always had a passion for taking care of animals since I was a kid. Along with my experience in a veterinarian clinic, I have had experience in retail at a pet store. I’ve provided pet sitting services for animals of all shapes and sizes including horses, goats, dogs, and cats. I also have two years of foster care experience, allowing me to work with many breeds, temperaments and personalities! My belief is that time, focus and positive reinforcement training can allow your pets best qualities to shine through! I have 3 dogs of my own Ace (heeler/chi), Bernie (terrier mix) and Rye (lab mix). I have a disabled cat name Wybie. I have two painted turtles as well, so I am reptile friendly! I hope to be of help to you and meet many new furry friends! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Pet care is my main focus area, and every animal in my care is my priority. WHAT YOU GET : Under my care your best friends and fur babies will be treated like my own! My dogs are fed twice a day with fresh, cool water every morning. They love the outdoors so they get let out frequently throughout the day and go on walks atleast once - weather dependent. Rye goes on maybe kayaking and swimming adventures with us as he loves the water. When I am away he has plenty of chew toys to keep him occupied. I make sure to play fetch and tug with Ace to give him what he needs as well as car rides and accompanying us on our hikes. Bernie gets as much hugs and kisses as the boy desires. He gets to go to get together and cook outs as much as possible because there’s nothing more that this boy loves than attention. I do the same for my clients and make sure that THEIR pets get the best care possible while they are out of town. I understand that our pets are our family, so I do my best to keep the pets and owners as happy as possible and follow any specific requirements per pet.
