For Dogs: I live on a large ranch with a perimeter fence and actively supervise during any time in the yard. My furry, four legged guests aren’t ever left alone for longer than an hour during the day. (*Cats are never allowed outside while in my care. I believe that the safest life for a kitty is indoors.) On walks, I am always alert and care about the safety of every clients pet as if they were my own.

Information Kaelin S. would like to know about your pet

Before booking, please inform me of basic information including medical conditions (if any) and whether you are working on training or teaching new tricks so that I can help the process! Want to talk on the phone to go over the fine details before booking? Message me to set up a virtual meet & greet! Don't know what to pack for your pet's overnight or daycare stay? Here is a list of items I recommend bringing: - Food (including treats) - Food and water bowls (I will provide clean filtered water) - Toys and a comfy bed, or crate if they are crate-trained - Leash and collar/harness (ID tags on collars are highly recommend) - Any medications or vitamins/supplements For boarding and daycare visits: If your pet is not house trained please mention this upon initial inquiry. I cannot accept booking requests for animals that frequently urinate indoors due to the cost of professionally cleaning afterwards. Additionally, out of respect for my neighbor I cannot accept boarding or daycare booking requests for dogs that tend to bark excessively.

A typical day

I work from home so I am never gone for more than a short trip during doggy daycare or boarding stays. My property has a lot of land, allowing for ample space to be active so I will gladly tucker your dog out on a nice walk or playing around in the yard. I have dozens of cat toys and catnip to keep kitty guests entertained during their stay. Please note that cats under my care will not be allowed outdoors. Your pet won’t be left unattended for extended periods of time, and will absolutely be spoiled with lots of love, snuggles, and attention. During drop-in visits at a client's home, I am always sure to provide excellent care for their pets while they are away. I follow directions thoroughly, and will provide detailed updates along with photos during my visit. On walks I am always cautious and keep pups out of harms way. If you have a preferred grassy area or dog park nearby I am happy to walk there and help your dog get his/her energy out. I can accommodate all energy levels and have a variety of clients that prefer both longer walks, jogs, and shorter, slow walks.

Detail Oriented Vet Professional

Pet care experience

I am a huge animal lover, and have a background in veterinary medicine. I have worked in veterinary hospitals, volunteered and fostered for rescue organizations, and worked alongside skilled veterinarians over the years to gain my experience. I am certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in basic and advanced veterinary life support. My number one priority is to provide a safe, healthy, and fun stay for your pet. During stays I strive to do my best to ease the worries that come with being apart from your fur-baby. I check-in from start to finish with updates about your pets, including whether they’ve finished their food, if we had a longer walk to get that energy out, etc. I understand exactly how important it is to have a trustworthy and reliable sitter. My goal is to consistently do everything possible to make my clients pleased and keep their pets well taken care of. For pets with more intricate needs please note that I have professional experience administering medication, setting up IV’s, providing first aid and am certified at providing animal CPR, as well as caring for newborn litters and nursing mothers. I am more than happy to discuss my experience and skills with you to help determine if I will be able to fulfill you and your pets needs. For instances like this, please contact me first to set up a meet & greet to discuss your pets care needs. Communication is key, I want your pet to be happy and safe with me! I always provide updates, and super cute photos of your pets while they are in my care. During drop-in visits I am thorough in order to make the most of the visit. I provide detailed updates and am always sure to mention if I notice anything out of the ordinary. I am happy to water plants, bring in packages, and take out trash upon request.

Kaelin always does an awesome job cat sitting for me! She does every thing I ask and more! My three older kitties love her and allow her to pet, brush and play with them! I highly recommend her to watch your pets.

Kaelin is amazing! She is SO professional and kind! My two rescue pups (mini poodle and terrier) adored her from the moment they met her and my cat Gordito loved her! She has incredible experience working at veterinary offices, and it was obvious from her knowledge and questions. She gave my cat his insulin shot, without any issues! She sent me the most awesome message, letting me know everything she had done, how Gordito was, and sent several pics! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and warm animal sitter!
