I am committed to creating an environment in your home that is safe, secure, and fun for your pup all day long! I am detail-oriented so I keep the place tidy and comfortable. Because every dog is different and you know your dog best, I follow your instructions carefully and guarantee open, prompt communication with you. I am very comfortable crating your dog if you need and happy caring for more than one. I know it can be hard to leave your pet in the care of someone else (Ive been there!) and so Im committed to making sure you feel comfortable and confident by building trust between you, your pup, and me…we got this!

A typical day
We will play games that focus on both mental and physical enrichment. We’ll go for walks and explore new smells and sounds while making sure we are safe and comfortable. When we get back to your home (if you would like us to go out for a walk), we’ll have some quiet time, making sure that they have plenty of water…and maybe a few treats if that is in the best interest of your pup (please communicate your pup’s individual treat routine!).

Pet care experience
Dogs have always been cherished members of my family for my whole life. I grew up caring for our family pups (Sammy, River, Indy, Sirius, and the newest addition, Loki!) from their puppyhood through their senior golden years. When I was 12, I began caring for the dogs and cats in my neighborhood. I am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes (I grew up with border collie/lab mixes, a great dane/pit/lab mix, and an aussie shepherd), and have extensive experience caring for more than one dog (or cat!) at a time. Since then, I have cared for dogs and cats across the Hudson Valley and NYC. Since I have no pets of my own because of my apartment size, I will treat yours as if they were my own and they will get all the care and attention they need while you are away. I also offer pet portraits and would be happy to talk with you about that further if you're interested. Every moment I get to spend with an animal is so special to me and I would be so grateful for the opportunity to share that love with you and your pup.
