Hi! I'm Kaedon, and I've always been interested in understanding animals, not just taking care of them. Every pet has their own personality, comfort level, and way of communicating, and I love taking the time to earn their trust and help them feel safe while their family is away. I raised my family dog from the time he was a 7-week-old puppy, and I now have two cats. I have over four years of experience volunteering in animal shelters, where I've helped with behavior modification, enrichment, advanced dog walking, and highly anxious dogs. I also had the opportunity to volunteer at an animal rescue in Argentina, which gave me the opportunity to care for a wide variety of animals in an incredible place. Additionally, I am Fear Free Shelter Certified, so I pay close attention to body language and focus on building trust instead of forcing interactions. I tend to spoil animals - I go out of my way to treat them like royalty. I meticulously ensure pets are safe by making sure they are supervised (especially while outdoors) and by keeping any potential hazards inaccessible. I exclusively utilize positive reinforcement to reward good behavior instead of punishing unwanted ones.

Kaedon was amazing! My cat loved him very much and didn’t take long for her to warm up to him. He was very attentive and took great care of her. He kept up with her feeding and medication. He sent me pictures and updates everyday! I would love to rebook with him for all future vacations! :)

Schedule
I'm currently a full-time nursing student, so my availability varies depending on my classes. However, I make sure I have the time to give your pet the attention they deserve, and outside of classes, my schedule is pretty open.
