I’m a 4th grade teacher starting my second year teaching! My availabilities are generally weekends throughout the day and weekdays after 4/4:30. Pet care is an important part of my routine with my 12 year old Maltipoo. We go on night walks, quick morning strolls & if I’m ever off for the day, we love to go on fun, adventurous car rides.

Safety, trust & environment
My dog, Pogo, always stays with one of my parents if I’m at work or away. Due to all of our schedules, he is never alone, so he is taken to the bathroom regularly. I like to keep him active & engage with him, allowing him to have the fullest enjoyment. That said, I carry the same actions when pet sitting. They receive full attention from me, because I know how crucial it is for pets to feel loved, especially when their pet parent is away.

A typical day
I like to take dogs on fun walks & interact with the & their favorite toys. We can play inside (and outside if your place permits) of the house. For cats, I enjoy playing with their favorite toys and let them approach me so they have a comfort level. Cats are extraordinary creatures and while I’m not a cat parent myself, have loved taking care of cats in the past!

Kacie took excellent care of my two cats while I was out of town. She was regularly communicative throughout my time away, asked questions when clarification was needed about their care, and even sent me updates with pictures that helped me know they were safe and being cared for. I will definitely be reaching out to her again next time I need care for my cats.
