An animal lover with time and care!
I’ve taken care of family pets my entire life and began pet sitting for family, neighbors, and family friends as a teenager. During my first year of college, I started housesitting too, and I’ve since cared for many lovely kitties, bunnies, and dogs, as well as some guinea pigs and chickens. I’m especially good with cats, dogs, bunnies, and chickens, as I’ve had them all myself, but I feel comfortable taking care of most animals as long as I’m given instructions for those I’m not familiar with (for example, horses or reptiles). I’ve driven hours to get injured baby bunnies to wildlife rehab, and I’ve taken in stray cats to get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and eventually adopted. Growing up, I never had fewer than three pets, and right now I have five. They keep my dad company… he claims he isn’t a cat person but still spends every night cuddling with our oldest cat, Magic. Caring for animals brings me a lot of joy. I’ve had people house sit and pet sit for me before, so I know it’s not always easy to relax when you’re wondering how things are going back home. I want every owner I sit for to feel completely at ease and to come home to happy pets and a well-cared-for home.

I always follow the instructions owners leave so pets stay on their usual routines and feel comfortable while their families are away. Whether I’m staying in a client’s home or stopping by for visits, I make sure every pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I also enjoy cleaning homes (with permission). When owners return, I make sure their homes look as if no one has even stayed there, except that it might be even cleaner. Your home and pets will be safe and well cared for, guaranteed !

Kacey has been a long time friend who takes care of many animals. She owns 3 cats and 2 rabbits who she cares for deeply and always ensures their needs are finely met. Kacey has dog sat for me in the past, in which she stayed over to ensure my dog's safety and to keep them company as they sometimes has attachment tendencies. She has also left my home just as it was left and I never had an issue with her care with my dog or my home. She takes her animal care seriously and ensures a happy pet and owner to the best of her ability each time! She is someone I would entrust to my dog and home anytime, and would for anyone I recommend her to. She has also pet sat for multiple friends of mine as well!
Kacey is the first person I ask to watch my cats and house if I am going away. She has pet sat for me multiple times and every time she has gone above and beyond to make sure my cats are happy and well cared for. Kacey diligently follows all pet care instructions while also keeping my home tidy. My cats are social and I worry about them getting lonely while I am away, but Kacey will sit with them and give them as much attention as they need. Sometimes I don't even think they miss me! Schedule
I work remotely and have plenty of time to give pets attention and care. Since I work remotely, I’m lucky to have the flexibility to give pets love and attention while their families are away. Right now, my kitties and bunnies are staying with my dad to keep him company, so I’ve been missing having furry friends around. My name is Kacey, and I’m from Portsmouth, Rhode Island. I work remotely as a freelance editor and pet sitter. I have bachelor’s degrees in Writing and Psychology and plan to start graduate school next year to pursue my master’s in social work. I love traveling and experiencing new places, especially small towns and rural areas, but I haven’t spent much time in the city yet, and I’d really like to. I also really enjoy exploring new places and meeting new animals along the way.
