Worry Free Dog Care!
Hi my name is K! I am currently a public health professional and graduate student at BU. I’ve loved all animals since I was a kid and dogs hold a special place in my heart. If you’re looking for someone to be 1 on 1 with your pet(s), I’m your person! I mostly work with anxious/shy dogs. Sitting for one client at a time usually makes it a better experience for the nervous babies. I do also have experience maintaining safe group play, walking larger groups of dogs simultaneously and understanding dog body language. Last summer, I even worked as a park ranger at the Park-9 Dog Bar pop up. Since I am a student, I’m looking to balance my workload and self-care with the love of new dogs in the Boston area. I mostly rely on public transportation to get around, so being walking distance within a T stop is great but in no way required. Thank you for considering me to care for a part of your family :)

I always follow owner’s directions, and doing what is best for the dog! I take leashed walks on sidewalks, parks and well lit areas. Always super cautious of other dogs and on the look out for other hazards. Also more than happy to stay at home and play in the yard if you have one. I try to maintain their routine as much as possible. I would never do anything you wouldn’t do with them!

Our first time using a sitter for our sweet boy! We were nervous at first to have a stranger in our home and with our Theo, but K put our minds at ease right away. After a successful meet & greet, K stayed the weekend at our place and watched our puppy. We got updates often, our Theo was happy and cared for, and we’ll definitely be using them again :)
K is terrific! I came home to happy, well cared for pups and and the house was in great shape too. I like that they checked in regularly and asked questions, like how the dogs do in thunderstorms when a storm was predicted. Very proactive. I'll definitely ask K to look after the dogs again!
K was so excellent!! They were flexible, wonderful at communication, kind, and trustworthy. It is hard to have a stranger in your home, caring for your pets… K put all those fears to rest. My giant, anxious dog and wild cat were in great hands with K. They took care of them, loved them, and were so patient, especially with my dog’s anxiety. Thank you for being the best and we can’t wait to have you again!
K took great care of my puppy! K took time to discuss the sitting arrangement, my pup’s routine, and provided excellent care while I was away. I will surely book again!
My husband and I took our first with our toddler and K stepped in to watch our dog Mouse in our home for 4 nights. I could not possibly say enough kind things or suggest K any more. During what was already an anxiety inducing trip (toddler + plane + leaving my very barky dog in my home with a stranger) K was incredibly communicative and responsible giving us updates and taking clear care of our pup. Frankly I hope they are around any time I have to leave for the night. My husband and I even spent the trip talking about how nice it would be to be able to go away given how quickly we now trust K with our dog Mouse. Thank you again!!

Schedule
I’m currently booking clients for late summer/fall! I’m a TA for a summer night class 2 days a week which requires me to be away for 3-4 hours (starts in July). I love using pet therapy to decompress from school so I’m always open to new sitting opportunities. With enough notice, my schedule can be quite flexible!
