I work part time as an in-home mental health counselor, which gives me flexibility throughout the week. I am available for morning and evening visits, with some afternoons depending on my counseling schedule. My weekends are completely open and I am happy to help with walks and drop-ins and providing companionship for your pets.

Before watching your pet, I’d love to know their normal routine, feeding schedule, personality, comfort level around new people/animals, favorite activities, and anything that helps them feel safe. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, behavioral quirks, fears, or special instructions. The more I know about your pet, the better I can make their experience comfortable and stress-free.
A typical day
A typical day with me will include plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship! I believe pets thrive when they have a consistent routine, so I like to learn each pet’s normal schedule and keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible while their owners are away. Depending on the pet’s needs, our day may include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, relaxing together, and plenty of affection. My goal is always for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I love keeping pets active both physically and mentally! Activities may include walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, exploring new smells outside, practicing basic commands, and giving them plenty of one-on-one attention. With my own Golden Retrievers, I enjoy incorporating play, exercise, grooming routines, and training into their everyday lives. I also understand that every pet has their own personality — some love adventure, while others prefer relaxing and receiving attention — and I’ll adjust activities to what makes your pet happiest.

Hi! My name is Justin Wright, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a passion for providing safe, loving care for pets. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and I’m a father of two Golden Retrievers and an uncle of 2 Cocker spaniels and a Toy Poodle. From walks and playtime to grooming routines and learning each pet’s unique personality, I truly love everything that comes with caring for animals. While my background is primarily with dogs, I love cats as well and would be happy to provide care for a variety of furry friends. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminology, and I currently work as an in-home mental health counselor. My experience working with people, behavior, and routines has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong attention to detail — qualities I bring into pet care as well.
