I have a fenced in backyard and live on a very quiet street. My 2 dogs are extensively trained and well behaved. I have hosted many dogs in my home without issue and I'm able to sequester my dogs away as needed. I never take a dog off leash in an environment that isn't safe, secure, and enclosed.

I understand some pets have special considerations and behaviors to keep in mind. I have seen many different variations of reactivity, fear, and resource guarding, all of which can be managed with patience, kindness, and consistency.
A typical day
Every dog is unique and I take great joy in learning how to make the most of our time together. Some of the greatest hits are nose work and enriching stimulation games, like sniff and find and snuffle boxes.

I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a child. I have regularly fostered abandoned and sheltered pets, many of whom were reactive and fearful. I currently have 2 large dogs and 2 cats, all of whom I have trained using positive reinforcement, patience, and lots of treats.
