We know what it is like to want the very best for your pet companions. We will treat your pet as if it is my own. Your loved ones will be in a safe and animal loving home. Unfortunately, we don’t have a fenced in yard, but we spend a couple hours a day walking and taking our dogs to the dog park. We are located near multiple parks for long walks and lots of sniffing. If one of us is coming to your home, we will take them for long walks, play fetch and give them lots of love. With two large breed dogs we also know the importance of training and keeping it consistent no matter who is with your dog. We would be happy to work on training with your dog while they are in my care. We also have experience in administering medicine and will be happy to do that for your pet as well.

We would love to know as many details about your pet as possible so we can cater to them in a way that will make them feel safe, happy, and loved. Please let us know if your pet is people/dog friendly, is scared of certain things, what their favorite game is, favorite toy, where they like to sleep, their favorite place to go, etc. Anything at all that will make you and your pet happy. We will also provide pic updates every day during boarding or drop ins. This has always been very important to us when choosing someone to watch our own dogs. We also would like to know if they have any allergies to food or treats & their vet information for emergencies. Meet and greets are also very important to us so that you and your pet are comfortable with us being in your home.
A typical day
As I mentioned, we have two very hyper labs so fun activities is our forte. Our apartment is located near Knights Park, Newton Lake and Cooper River Dog Park. We also love a good trip to the Timber Creek dog park for a good swim. We always try to look for new places to bring our pets to explore. Since we do live in an apartment, we try to get my dogs outside as much as possible. Our apartment is a decent size, but we love the outdoors. In the summer, we bring out the dog pool. When is it raining or snowing and we cannot go for as long as a walk as we like to, we usually do some enrichment games at home. Our labs love hide and seek with treats.

My girlfriend and I have had pets our entire lives. We enjoy the company of our two dogs more than most people :) We currently have a chocolate lab named Ryker and a champagne lab named Flora. They are both very hyper dogs, so we have experience in working with high energy dogs who need to get their energy out. We have taken care of friends and family's pets and even boarded some pets in our home with my two labs. They are both very dog & people friendly. My girlfriend and I are both available to take care of your pets. We have different schedules so we have more flexibility and availability.
Reviews
Justin’s daily reports and pictures erased the 5,000 miles (6 hours) distance from our cat. Knowing that such a caring individual was present for our senior cat made our family visit that much more enjoyable. In addition, daily mail and plant watering were attended to as well. We intend to recommend Justin and the Rover service to friends and neighbors. Thanks!
Justin was truly great! My dogs are senior dogs and require a lot of special attention, but he never missed a beat. He sent me plenty of photos and detailed updates about what happened during each visit. It was a relief to know my dogs were being well taken care of. I plan to use Justin again!
