I'll love your fur baby like my own
If you’ve booked with me previously, please message/text me. My account is currently set to away due to Rover’s algorithm. If you are a new client, I really appreciate you taking this moment to find out a little more about me. I know how hard it can be to find someone to care for your fur babies that you really trust, but if you choose me I'll care for your pets as if they were my own! I recently cared for Beau, a senior Labrador for 10 days before, during, and after the aftermath of Helene! I have had dogs and cats my entire life, but each one is just as unique as you and I and I take pride in getting to know each one individually. Professionally I have many years of experience as a vet tech caring for dogs, cats and other animals through all stages of life from birth to end of life care. My experience includes grooming, and administering medications, and volunteering at organizations like the Durham Animal Protection Society and the Blue Ridge Humane Society. My career was as an Occupational Therapy Assistant where I also helped to train senior citizens to safely care for their own fur babies so they don't have to give up these precious members of their family. My family currently includes a 2 chihuahuas and 3 cats who are like children to me! Justin was great with our dogs. Lots of time outside walking and he took good care of our home. He's communicative too. We've already rebooked with him.
Justin is a dog whisperer! Communication was great leading up to appointment. My pup loved him! Justin was very caring and confident with Benny and that's exactly what he needed! Photos were sent and updates given in a very timely manner. Benny looked so happy in his pics. I was so relieved and happy to find someone who takes great care of my pup. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Justin!
Justin was fantastic. He worked with us on fairly short notice for a holiday weekend, was super communicative, and followed our detailed requests for our spoiled senior dog :-) We’re happy to have found him and look forward to having him stay with Walter again!

Safety is extremely important to me, and I treat your home better than I treat my own. I double and triple check that all locks are bolted, and your pet is secured before I leave.

All of my visits are fully customizable to meet the needs of your pet whether that means 100% playtime in the backyard, or a walk and mealtime before I step out.
