Dogs with extra needs are my favorite. I love staying with and comforting a dog who is really going to miss you. I’m perfect for dogs who need mediation or a little extra sensitiviy because of a condition. I’m an active person so I’m ready to play a lot of tug-of-war or taking them on run, if that’s what they like. I’ll be a really happy if they just love cuddling too. I’ve grown up with four dogs of my own my whole life. I studied animal behavior and have supported cats and dogs with complex health conditions needing medication, physical therapy, injections, and mobility support (doggie wheelchairs) I’m happy to have extended stays for those long trips. I’ll water plants at needed, get your packages, and I always make sure your apartment and pupper is clean and comfy when you get back! I’ve volunteered at the Anti Cruelty and Paws for 10 years. I am the go to sitter for all my friend’s animals; dogs, cats, birds, reptiles. I am great at following Pet Parents protocols and keeping an eye on your pet’s behavior to find out what they need from me each visit.

I always follow the instructions Pet Parents give me and follow common sense safety guidelines. Open doors slowly and at a minimum until I know where your pets are. Always a secure and safely fitting leash, vest, collar. Refreshing food and water as instructed. Keeping an eye in the house for accidents or odd behavior to message to the Pet Parent and take care of the need.

Justin took amazing care of our crazy 100 pound golden retriever while we were out of town!! He sent lots of photos and updated us regularly on what they were up to and asked any questions he had. We felt so comforted knowing that our pup was well taken care of and we'll definitely be reaching back out to him the next time we are leaving town! Thanks, Justin!!
Gentry did a great job taking care of our senior dog who takes medication and needed assistance going up and down stairs. We were relieved to find a caring walker who could give him the TLC he needed!
Justin is the best! He house sat our dachshund Jordy for a few days and we could tell Jordy loved his time. Great communication during the entire stay. Justin is very thorough and made sure he had everything covered at all times, from medication to food amounts, our dog's habits, etc. Would highly recommend and we look forward to having Justin stay with Jordy again in the future!
Gentry (Justin) is a wonderful house sitter! He stayed with our 2 dogs for a week and when we returned they were clearly well taken care of. We have one rescue dog who is very wary of strangers and another dog with some health issues. He was very patient with both of them and was willing to put in a lot of extra effort to win over our crazy rescue pup! Highly recommended!
Our family has used Justin multiple times for overnight pet and house sitting. We have such peace of mind knowing that he is caring for our sweet dogs and kitty. He is very trustworthy and we fully recommend him! We love him and so do our pets!
I recommend Justin Gentry as the perfect dog sitter. I needed to be out of town for three days and my beautiful dog Nymeria (a husky mix) does not do well by herself. Justin did an excellent job walking Nymeria twice a day as well as administering an antibiotic she was on at the time. When I came back it was like I had never left- she probably would've left with Justin if I had let her!

Schedule
I have a flexible work from home schedule so I am available after 7am until 9pm for walks and drop in visits. Available 7 days a week.
