My daily schedule is entirely structured around the dogs I work with. I am available for morning, mid-day (Monday and Fridays), and evening group or individual trail runs. We have the schedule and flexibility to give your dog the full time and attention they deserve without rushing.

Safety, trust & environment
I maintain the rules and boundaries you have set. I practice "sit" at crosswalks, check-ins during walks, and ensure they are calm before we exit the door. I treat your home with total respect, ensuring it is locked, clean, and exactly as you left it—just with a much more tired and happy dog waiting for you :)

Information Justin G. would like to know about your pet
Primary Driver: Does the dog work better for food or toys? If toys, do they prefer a ball to fetch or a rope to tug? Reliable Release: Does the dog have a consistent drop it or out command, sit/stay, or other basic commands. This is essential for reinforcing your specific training commands. Training History: Have they been trained with specific tools like e-collars or prongs in the past? We need to know so we can maintain a consistent approach. Trail Safety and Behavior: Reactivity: How does the dog react to high-speed triggers? Since we use local trails, we need to know if they will lung at bicycles, joggers, or other dogs. Prey Drive: Will the dog bolt if they see a squirrel or rabbit? This affects how I handle the leash during our sessions. Bite and Aggression History: We must know about any history of nipping or biting, even if it was "just play." Escape Risk: Is the dog known for backing out of harnesses or bolting through open doors? Home Logistics and Emergency Info Home Entry: What is the specific code or hidden key location for the house? Post-Run Care: Where should the dog be left (crate, kitchen, etc.) after the session? Do we need to feed the dog? (We always fill up their water bowl)
A typical day
I check weather safety and secure all gear. I always carry water and a basic canine first aid kit, as well as an attach a GPS tracker on each dog if off leash (most dogs are on a 15 foot biothane long-line Focus: We start with 5-10 minutes of Play Training. This ensures your dog is listening and engaged before we begin the run. Exercise: We will drive to a nearby trail/path. We maintain a steady athletic pace to ensure your high-energy breed gets a true cardio workout without over exerting them by continually stopping for good smells along the way. Recovery: We finish with a cool-down walk and a mental "sniff break." This helps your dog relax before heading inside. Care: I wipe paws, fill water bowls, and send you a GPS map with photos so you can see the route we conquered.
