I interviewed Justin on January 21, 2026. During the interview, I asked him if he smokes, and he stated that he did not smoke but disclosed that he had a medical marijuana card. I asked him to refrain from using it while caring for my pet, and he agreed. He explained that he was studying for his real estate license and supplementing his income through Rover and delivery work, which would require him to be away from the house for a few hours during the day. I informed him that I had indoor and outdoor cameras to monitor my pet during those times and showed him their locations. On the second day of my trip, I discovered that Justin slept during the day and stayed up at night. I addressed the issue with him, and he assured me he would adjust his schedule to fit my pet's needs. He mentioned that friends were visiting for a Renaissance Festival, and that he would be hanging out with them for a few hours. Over that weekend, he frequently left the house to meet them, often returning late at night. On one occasion, he left burgers unattended on the stove at 1:00 a.m., which triggered the smoke alarm monitored by my security company. When I was unable to reach him by phone, I checked my cameras and observed a large bottle of liquor next to the couch. Despite leaving written care instructions, I had to repeatedly remind him to complete basic tasks. He also left my front door unlocked on multiple occasions, including overnight, and failed to set the alarm when leaving the house. The day before my return, I sent my nephew to relieve Justin. Upon arrival, my nephew found evidence that Justin had been drinking and using recreational drugs in my home. There was a beer can on the backyard table with a cigarette butt inside it, a large bottle of liquor, a case of beer, and an object that appeared to be a syringe. The house was left in poor condition, the floors were dirty, and my pet was suffering from diarrhea. These were only some of the issues I encountered during his stay. I carefully considered whether to submit this report, as the experience was deeply distressing. However, I decided to proceed because I do not want another pet or homeowner to be placed at risk in the future.

Justin did a wonderful job boarding my lil lady Luna. He always asked the right questions and kept Luna active. Justin was even able to clip Luna’s nails, which is normally a fight with her. You can tell he has a sincere kindness when it comes to animals. Luna enjoyed her time with Justin. I will definitely book with Justin in the future.

Justin did a wonderful job with our puppy Junie! We got lots of great updates with pictures. He was also very knowledgeable about animals and was able to accommodate her health needs.

Amazing host. Communicating as much as you need! Extremely kind, caring, and will go the extra mile just to help out. Definitely someone we will use for our future trips and even to visit the dogs because of the good time spent.

Justin was a phenomenal sitter for our dog Dexter, he was great with communication before and during the booking, he was reassuring and knowledgeable about pets and pet behaviors! He also sent lots of great photos and updates throughout the stay, we felt relaxed knowing our pup was in such good hands! We will for sure be booking him for pet sitting again!

Justin was so good with Simba!!! I couldn’t have had a better person to take care of Simba! I will definitely use his services again!!!
