Pet care experience
Expert sitter,caring & attentionate
I lost my first cat after a move and it broke my heart. 😿 Since then I have cared for many cats (now 20+) as rescue host, pet-sitter and house sitter to avoid this pain for others. I've been baby- and pet-sitting for more than 14 years in my life now. I've been a host for rescue cats, rescued multiple cats and kittens myself (I cannot recall exactly how many but something in the 20+ cats so far). I cared for senior cats, young active junior cats, kittens, blind cats, feral cats and cats with special medical needs. 🦯 🐾 I work at the university and like meeting nice people. If you treat your pets well, that's a great basis already 😉 I'm extremely handy and can fix any issues I encounter in and outdoors. 🛠️ We have one cat 🐈 (that we found in the forest) at home too now and we're enjoying her company very much. She's around 1yo (in Jul27) fully vaccinated and spayed in Jan26 and very healthy. I'm flexible depending on the dates, to come to your place, house sit or have your cat(s) at ours. I can easily come once or twice per day and following instructions well so you can go away with an easy mind. 😌 I'm used to giving wet, dry, high end, affordable and snacking food 🍽️ as well as administer medication as pills 💊 if needed. Vaccination/injections 💉 I only did with rabbits. For boarding, we own a relatively large house 🏡 with some parts we currently renovate, but everything is safe. At home, my fiancé helps with taking care of all animals and he works from home so the pets are with someone all the time. Despite having a garden, we avoid letting cats outside without active supervision because of the strays and traffic in the street (we live close to the tubantiasingel).

Schedule
I work full time at university, I usually go to drop-ins for animals in the morning between 9:00-11:00 and evening between 18:00-21:00. At our home, for boarding, we have a similar schedule with morning breakfast between 9:00-11:00 and dinner between 18:00-21:00. My fiancé helps as well at home.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We have an indoor cat at home, our garden is not facing the street directly and relatively fenced but we don't let animals out without careful supervision.
Pets
A typical day
I usually play with cats indoor, with their toys and depending on your recommendations. I combine it with giving food, attention while cleaning and cuddling/calm time before leaving.
