Right now I don’t live with any dogs of my own (just my cat, who’s pretty low maintenance), which actually works out great because it means I have more time and flexibility to focus on taking care of yours. I work from home, so fitting in walks, check-ins, or drop-bys is easy for me. Plus, being near Savin Hill Beach, Moakley Park, the South Boston Dog Park, and Carson & M Street beaches means your pup will have plenty of great spots to get outside and not feel cooped up.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m in my home or yours, I try to make pets feel comfortable and cared for just like they would with their own family. At a client’s home, I follow whatever routine you already have in place — feeding times, walk schedules, play, or quiet time — so your pet feels safe and things stay consistent. At my place, I make sure they get plenty of attention, walks, and playtime, and I keep an eye on them throughout the day since I work from home. My cat is afraid of other animals so there would be no hostility or territory isues there. My goal is always to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well looked after.
Information Justin C. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know ahead of time if your pet is hyperaggressive toward strangers, so I can approach them safely and ensure the best experience for them.
A typical day
I like to keep things fun and active depending on what each pet enjoys. That might mean going for walks around the neighborhood or nearby parks, playing with their favorite toys, naps, or just spending quality time together with lots of attention and affection. My goal is to keep them happy, engaged, and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life — my family has had three and I helped care for each of them from playful puppies all the way through their senior years. I was also the go-to kid in the neighborhood whenever someone needed their dog walked or watched. Since moving to Boston, I now have my first cat, which has given me plenty of hands-on experience with how cats behave and what it takes to keep them happy too. I really just enjoy being around animals, so getting to spend time with new furry buddies never feels like work — it’s something I look forward to.

amazing job! thank you for coming and helping out at a moments notice e

Justin was awesome! On time every day and kept us informed on the pups throughout the visit.
I cannot recommend Justin enough. My two cats took to him immediately! He is attentive with them and was in regular communication with me with any questions or concerns. From the deluge of photos he sent (seriously, each visit averaged 15+!) I was assured they were in good care, and can tell they enjoyed playing with him and some porch time. My partner commented during our trip that I appeared less anxious about them than I normally am. Thank you, Justin!

Justin was great! You could tell he genuinely cared for our pup and was very responsive during our time away.
