Justice is awesome! She was quick to respond, gave regular updates with pictures, and did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. 10/10 would recommend and I will absolutely be using her again

I unfortunately had a very distressing experience with Justice that I feel is important to share for other pet owners. We had an agreed pickup time of 11:00 AM. I began reaching out around 8:30 AM to confirm and received no response. When 11:00 AM came and she did not arrive or respond, I became increasingly concerned. For hours, I called and messaged repeatedly with no communication. I contacted Rover Support multiple times, and they were also unable to reach her. At that point, I genuinely did not know whether something had happened to Justice or, more importantly, whether my dog was safe. I eventually contacted the police and resorted to knocking on doors at her apartment complex trying to locate her residence or anyone who might know her. As a dog owner, not knowing where your dog is or whether they are okay is terrifying. I eventually found a neighbor who said she knew Justice and offered to contact her. After I had been trying unsuccessfully to reach Justice for hours, she responded to the neighbor almost immediately. Justice finally communicated with me around 3:00 PM. What made the situation even more concerning was the conflicting information I received afterward. I was first told her phone died. The I was told she was sick and had taken sleep medication after not hearing from her for hours. When I asked for my dog to be brought out, I was asked to wait approximately another 40 minutes because she claimed she was vomiting and could not come to the door after just saying she didn’t see my messages because she was sleeping. However, the neighbor had told me that Justice said she was not home. Once I told Justice I had been given that information, the explanation changed to she was with a friend that was helping her because she was sick. At that point, I felt I was not being given an honest account of what was happening. I ultimately got my dog back around 4:30 PM, more than five hours after our confirmed 11:00 AM pickup time. I want to be fair in saying that Justice has many positive reviews, and I understand that this may have been an isolated incident. I also do not believe she is necessarily a bad person. However, that does not change my experience or how frightening it was. Emergencies, illness, and unexpected circumstances happen, but when someone is responsible for another person’s pet, communication is incredibly important. Even a brief message letting me know my dog was safe and that the pickup time needed to change would have prevented hours of fear and uncertainty. I truly wish this situation had been handled differently. The lack of communication and conflicting explanations made an already concerning situation significantly worse. For several hours, I genuinely believed something terrible may have happened to my dog. It was an extremely traumatic experience that I would never want another pet owner to go through.

Justice was amazing! She was quick to respond when my sitter cancelled a week before my trip. Scheduled a meet & greet the same day! Justice adores dogs and was very eager to make sure Foley was comfortable and happy. She sent lots of varied pictures and updates everyday. Would highly recommend her and happily book her again!

Justice was amazing with my pup Chino. I was worried about leaving him with a complete stranger for a last minute trip because my usual sitter wasn’t available but she was the best option. A real home away from home, Chino was well taken care of and I was updated daily. I hope she’s available for every upcoming trip!
