Home with a dog is a complete home
Being a Nana to grandbabies and grandpuppies, I adore dogs!! I was raised around dogs and learned how to teach boundaries with love early on in life. I feel dogs have a lot to teach us as we give them love and security. I grew up training dogs with my father and now after my kiddos are grown and I am able to be home, I can focus my attention back to dogs. Now being settled, my passion is helping fight puppy mills and am a benefactor for NATIONAL MILL DOG RESCUE in Colorado Springs. I have one dog of my own who is a rescue and is 5 years old 16 lbs yorkipoo and would LOVE to have some friends come over and play. Going for daily walks, hikes, playing chase and cuddling is on the couch is the perfect day. Spending time with dogs is my passion. Lets play!!

Ratings and reviews
Rocky had such a great time with June that instead of being ready to jump in the car to head home, he tried to get us to go back into the house.

So grateful for June! She always has taken such great care of Sparky, be it for an overnight stay or for an extended almost month long stay. Thanks so much June!

Buddy had a great day w/ June. He was walked, and well cared for. June set lots of pictures of him enjoying his stay. We look forward to staying w/ June again.

June is wonderful! Rocky always has a great stay and is well loved.

Thank you so much June for the great care and love you showed Toby and Bear! Loved getting the cute pictures of them while I was gone. It’s always peace of mind for me when you take care of my dogs! Peggy

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have one dog and she takes on well with other pups. When we have “guests” I think of myself as “grandma June” For daytime stays they could start by 6:00am and prefer ending by 5:15. Only Mon-Fri For overnights: the latest for pickup preferably by 8:00 so we can call for the evening.
Pets
A typical day
Each dog has a personality just like people. We have a great neighborhood park that we can walk to, play in the back yard. I have taken Cesar Millan courses and when growing up trained larger dogs along with medium dogs. Can work with homework you have for you little one or just have play time.
