24/7 Small Pup care in my home
NOTICE: A Meet and Greet is required at least one day in advance of any services I provide. No large breed dogs. I'm only capable of taking care of small dogs. Hi! My name is June & I have over 50 years of pet care experience that I provide in my clean, dog-friendly home. I am retired from the corporate world so I am home all day to provide 24/7 care to pups under 25 pounds. As long as you let me know the times you need, You can drop off as early as 7:00 am & pick up as late as 10:00 pm. Just let me know in the booking. Stuck @ work or out of town & need pup care? No problem. I’ll come to pick up your pup/pups. Our guest dogs must be spayed/neutered. If your dog is not house-trained, please let me know upfront so we can be prepared for that. We have a doggie door, but I also take all the dogs out every hour or so to make sure everyone has a chance to do their business. We have security gates, playpens, and kennels (dogs are only kenneled at night if they will not use a doggie door to potty). My husband and I also volunteer with Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston. We have 2 Miniature Schnauzers so we work with families of small dogs. We usually keep 4 guest dogs and have the occasional schnauzer foster if it's been fully vetted. Pets are required to have the following: *Required vaccinations DPP Bordetella Rabies *In addition to vaccinations, all dogs must be on a heartworm preventative and flea and tick prevention to qualify for my boarding services. If you have chosen me as your pets caregiver, you can bring the following items at drop off: Food Treats Medicine We provide everything else. Both my dog and I absolutely LOVE June! Nadya is very spoiled and needy and I myself can be a little anxious leaving her with others but June makes us both feel at it ease! I appreciate her and will continue to book!
Since it was my first time using a dog sitter, I admit I felt a bit nervous because my dog can be quite picky about food, and he had never stayed with someone else before. But I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! June was fantastic — she kept me in the loop with adorable pictures and videos throughout the stay, which really put my mind at ease. She was so patient and attentive, and somehow she and her husband managed to get my picky eater to eat regularly! It was obvious they truly cared about his comfort and happiness. The communication was great, and I really appreciated all the updates. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a caring, reliable dog sitter. We’re already looking forward to booking with her again!

Schedule
Our daily routine revolves around dogs. Ours and yours. We both look forward every day to hanging out with pups. Our schedule is very flexible, so we change it to fit the dog's needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Our fence is only a few years old and has a padlock on the gate. We also have a gate across the entry. There are no children in the home. Our environment is tailored to dogs. We have lots of dog beds in rooms we hang out in and kennels in our bedroom for the night. If your pup will use the doggie door and not potty in my house, they do not have to be kenneled unless they like sleeping in one.

A typical day
Breakfast is usually at 8:00 am and then we go outside. We go out a lot throughout the day. The dogs lounge around and follow us around the house and there is lots of playing. I usually spend time throwing toys for them if they like to play. We have TONS of toys. Our dogs are all very playful and love to play with guest dogs.
