I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. From age 8 into my early 30s, Shih Tzus were a part of my family, and caring for them became second nature to me. One of my favorite memories is when my first dog, Darong, was still with us—our veterinarian reached out to my family first when a rescued Shih Tzu, who looked just like her, needed a new home. That’s how Hyanggi joined our family, and she has been with us ever since. I recently got married and moved to Connecticut from South Korea. Hyanggi is currently living with my parents, and I miss her every day. Because of that, caring for other families’ pets brings me genuine joy—it’s a way to share the warmth, attention, and love I’ve always given my own dogs. I work from home, so your pet will get plenty of supervision and companionship throughout the day. We have a spacious second bedroom where dogs can rest or play comfortably, and there’s a beautiful walking trail right outside our home for daily exercise and fresh air. I’m gentle and patient, and I always prioritize each pet’s comfort and well-being. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll meet them where they are and provide the kind of care that helps them feel truly at ease. It would be my joy to look after your beloved pet with the same warmth and thoughtfulness I give my own. My goal is to make sure every pet in my care feels safe, relaxed, and loved—so you never have to worry while you’re away. I would be honored to care for your beloved pet as if they were my own. 🐶💛

Pet care easily fits into my routine, and I always make sure I’m fully present and attentive when I’m with an animal. I also respond quickly, so you can always expect timely communication and updates.

A typical day with me is calm, warm, and reassuring. Your dog will enjoy a peaceful environment where they can rest, play gently, and feel genuinely cared for throughout the day. Because I work from home, I’m able to offer constant companionship and attentive supervision. I stay tuned in to their emotions and needs, making sure they feel safe, understood, and never alone.
