Availability

I am a part-time student at PCC taking classes online this summer. I also work retail, and I am currently scheduled 4-6 days per week between 10am–7pm, with shifts up to 8hrs. Lastly, I volunteer in the OHSU Trauma unit on Sundays from 5-9pm, so if your pet has a nightly routine (such as a feeding time) that interferes with this, I may need to adjust my volunteer schedule or I’ll ask you if we can adjust their schedule. I prefer to take care of pets that can be alone for 6 hours or more since that is what fits best with my current schedule. However, if your pet cannot be left alone for more than 4 hours, please inquire about my constant care service for house-sitting. “Constant care” can be defined differently by each sitter, but for my services, constant care refers to pets who need check-ins at least every 4 hours due to health concerns (ie, anxiety, medication), age-related needs (ie, incontinence), or other special requirements. My base constant care house-sitting rates start at $150 per night for a single dog, and $90 per night for a single cat. Rates may vary depending on your pet’s specific care needs. If your pet requires constant care, I may also need to take time off work to provide the necessary supervision, which will increase the overall cost. During the summer, my general availability for constant care is Monday thru Sunday. If you have questions about the constant care service or pricing, please include them when you first inquire. Please note: Due to my current work schedule, I am unable to accommodate pets that are unable to be left alone for at least 4 hours UNLESS you book my constant care service. If you do not want to book constant care, I recommend seeking a boarding service or another provider who specializes in higher-need care. Last updated: 8/7/26

Safety, trust & environment

Before accepting any care requests, I like to arrange a meet and greet to get to know you and your pet's needs and personality. All pets are cared for as if they were my own, and I will return them to your care, happier and healthier than when they were first turned over into my care. If you have any concerns, I am always available through my Rover number through text or call to answer any questions. I would like to know the following if you book my house-sitting services: Do you have any cameras inside or outside of the home? Will they need to be on at all times? Are you willing to turn any inside cameras off while I am in your home for the duration of the stay? What am I allowed to use or access while I am staying in your home? Is there anything that I cannot use or access while I am staying in your home? Are there any housekeeping chores you would like me to do while I am staying in your home? (vacuuming, mail/package collection, indoor plant watering, etc) Is there anything else about your home that would be important for me to know? (wifi password, code/key for house entry, etc) Last updated 4/4/26

Information June D. would like to know about your pet

I prefer to care for dogs that do not bark constantly since I have some noise sensitivities and can get overwhelmed when there are sudden noises. However, I know that dogs sometimes bark to determine the situation outside the home or to greet their caretakers, so I will be able to manage those situations. Below is a list of questions that I would like to know about your pets - you can choose to answer them in advance or we can go over these during the meet and greet. Can your dog be comfortably left alone for 6 or more hours? If not, please ask about my constant care service before booking. Do you have any concerns about your pet's behavior while you are away? Do they have any health issues that need special attention or care? (dietary restrictions/allergies, medications, medical issues or concerns) Do they have any behavioral triggers? (other dogs/cats/squirrels, certain noises like the vacuum, hearing noises outside the home, etc) Does your dog(s) bark or get agitated when interacting with a behavioral trigger? What is the best way to calm them down? Do they have a given schedule for certain activities? (walks, feeding times, medication) What kind of food do they eat (raw, generic wet/dry, custom)? Do your dog(s) walk well on leash? Do they pull or have difficulty walking? What is the best way to spoil them? (extra treats, cuddles, etc) Is there anything else I should know about your pet (quirks, tricks, etc)? Last updated 8/14/26

A typical day

A typical day in my care will be different for each pet, as I like to customize their care to their specific needs. If you have any specific routines or instructions for me, I will do my best to follow them so I can keep your pet(s) happy and healthy while you are away. Please keep in mind that because I work retail shifts of up to 8 hours, I am best suited for dogs that can be comfortably left alone for 6+ hours. Dogs with higher supervision needs may be a great fit for my constant care service — feel free to ask about that when you reach out. Last updated 8/14/26

Pet care experience

Please read my entire profile before sending me a booking request - Thank you! Quick note for dog owners: I work part-time retail shifts of up to 8 hours, so I can only accommodate dogs that are comfortable being alone for 6 hours or more. If your dog needs more frequent check-ins due to anxiety, age, or health needs, please inquire about my constant care service (starting at $150/night) before sending a request. If you're unsure whether your dog qualifies, feel free to message me! Providing pets with specialized individual care and love has been a big part of my life. I grew up with two German Shepards and spent much of my childhood caring for them as part of my daily chores. In middle school, I started volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society as a volunteer requirement, and I consider the time I spent walking dogs, cleaning cat rooms, and socializing with small animals a really valuable experience. Volunteering at OHS at a young age taught me the value and importance of creating safe and welcoming spaces for pets so that they feel loved and cherished. I have always loved dogs and cats, but I also have experience in caring for small animals (guinea pigs, hamsters, rats/mice), chickens, goats and horses. So if you have one of these more unconventional pets, I would be happy to discuss my rates and plans for their care. The most important thing to me in providing care is making sure that both the pet and owner feel completely comfortable during the service, which begins even before I met your pet for the first time. I do my best to respond quickly to each and every request within a few minutes (I am most available from 10am to 10pm), but any requests sent outside of that time frame may be slower to receive a response. During house sits and drop-in visits, I will stay in regular communication with texts and photo updates. During walks and drop-in visits, I utilize Rover cards which will let you know information about the walk/visit, and I am always available on my Rover number during any service booking. Every pet is unique, and I will do everything I can to make sure that they are given the best care while under my care. Our pets are our furry children and deserve to have individualized care that fits their needs and makes them happy. I am excited to have the opportunity to provide your pet(s) with the care that they deserve, and I look forward to working with you to do that. Last updated 8/14/26

June was super responsive to my messages and was willing to care for us on short notice. Our home was left cleaner than we found it and she even left us a a little treat when we returned!

June was awesome with our small dog and cat. She took care of their every need and they were super well cared for and happy on our return. June took great care of the house and was willing to let our little, clingy dog snuggle with her.
