I grew up with my beloved dog Molly, and animals have been part of my life ever since. I truly believe dogs and cats can sense energy — and I’ve always felt a natural, calm connection with them. When your pet stays with me, they’re not just being watched — they’re treated like they’re visiting their favorite cool aunt’s house: safe, loved, understood… and maybe just a little spoiled 🤭(with your permission, of course). As much as I adore animals, I also deeply understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. It’s not just cuddles and cute moments — it’s structure, patience, routine, and safety. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to fully trust the person caring for your fur baby. I am comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and different temperaments. I can follow structured routines, feeding schedules, and administer basic medications if needed. I pay close attention to behavior changes and body language to make sure your pet feels safe and understood.

Julijana and her husband Alan took great care of Maui while we were gone for a week! They took her on many adventures and Maui seemed so happy in all of the videos that were sent! So glad we chose them for our rover :)
Julijana is the best! My dogs love her! She loves my dogs! She exercises them well and brings them home tired and happy. She is also great at managing a complicated medicine regimen involving pills, eye drops, and eye ointment for my senior dog, who has a corneal abrasion. I really appreciate her!
We LOVE it when Julijana takes care of our dog. We always know Berger is well taken care of. Julijana is an amazing communicator and takes our dog on amazing adventures.

Schedule
My schedule is currently very flexible, as I work from home as a freelance architect. This allows me to be fully present, attentive, and available throughout the day. I’m a morning person and available starting at 7am, seven days a week. My husband Alan occasionally helps with transportation and additional support when needed. He is also a true animal lover, and together we make sure your pet receives consistent and attentive care. We often joke that we become the “second mom and dad” to the dogs we care for. Whenever possible, we genuinely enjoy spending time with them together — making sure they feel safe, loved, and at home.

Your pet’s safety and emotional comfort are my top priorities. I’m available to provide care in your home or at a location that best suits your pet’s routine and comfort. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routine. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any specific guidelines you provide. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are always secure, and I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and overall well-being.
A typical day
I’m an active, adventurous person who genuinely loves spending time in nature — so your dog will always have a fun and attentive partner for walks and exploring. A typical day includes structured walks tailored to your dog’s energy level, whether that means relaxed neighborhood strolls with lots of sniffing or longer nature walks and park visits. I’m happy to play fetch, run, or keep things calm and steady — always on leash unless you specifically prefer and approve otherwise. I pay close attention to body language and behavior. If your dog is uncomfortable around other dogs or people, I quickly adjust and avoid any stressful situations. I also have experience caring for a senior dog, which taught me patience and attentiveness. I understand that not every pet wants high energy — some need a slower pace, extra gentleness, and more rest. I always adapt to your pet’s individual needs.
