I have a 90 ft fenced secure garden mostly grassed. There is a tall side gate which is locked at all times. Access to the garden is through back door at kitchen. Inside I have an open plan lounge/dinner and fairly large hallway. Stairs leading up to bedrooms and toilet/bathroom. The road I live on is really only used by the residents ie not heavy traffic. If you use a crate at home for your fur baby then I too will provide a crate. Upstairs is usually out of bounds although there are exceptions.

Information Juliet W. would like to know about your pet
If your fur baby does require special attention then please do let me know ahead of your stay. I would like to in any event meet your fur baby ahead of their stay so that we can be introduced beforehand.
A typical day
We will explore the lovely woods that we have near us enjoying a paddle or swim in the stream and searching out the squirrels! We will enjoy beach walks when dogs are permitted which is usually during the months October to March. Or just a sociable walk along the seafront or my local area. I also like to stimulate them mentally. I like to hide treats in the garden for them to search out!

Pet care experience
I have been around dogs all my life. Whilst I was growing up we had 3 consecutive dogs- all Corgies - Mum loved Corgies! My Grandparents had Poodles and Border Collies. When I met my husband he had a long haired German Shepherd called Kaiser who was a big soft lump. When our first borne came along sadly Kaiser went to doggie heaven. We then had a break from having a pet as we welcomed our second borne. Then in December 2010 we welcomed Wispa the Working Chocolate Brown Spaniel into the family. Wispa came from a family who we knew well who had 7 Working Spaniels -yes 7!! She was one of 7 Pups too! She was a total livewire, funny, loving (sometimes very stubborn!) and loved nothing more than to be sitting on you as close as she could get! She loved celebrations where wrapping paper was involved as she’d rip the paper to shreds in absolute glee! Wispa sadly fell ill in May 2022 and doggie heaven welcomed her. The house has been so quiet and whilst we are not wanting yet to commit ourselves full time to another pet we do miss having a fur baby around the house and a reason to walk and explore the wonderful area we live in. Lately I have been looking after my friends fur baby Gertie who is a Border Terrier. Gertie gets me out and about into the fresh air and loves her cuddles on the settee with us. For your peace of mind I am fully insured and covered for all eventualities although hopefully I will never need to use! I may not have “professional” qualifications but I do have bundles of time and love ready to give your fur baby!
Reviews

Once again a fantastic stay with Juliet and her lovely family. Lexie looked so happy from the daily videos and updates that kept us informed of her stay. From drop off to pick up she was treated like one of the family. Can’t recommend Juliet highly enough to look after anyone’s treasured pooch they will be in safe hands. Thank you again Juliet you are amazing.
This was Roccos second time staying with Juliet. He had a lovely time and was truly looked after as though he was her own dog. Lots of videos and messages each day to reassure us he was as happy and well. 100% recommend.

Juliet took exceptional care of Hugo over the last few days, and I couldn’t be happier. She sent regular daily updates that completely put me at ease and gave me total confidence that Hugo was in the safest hands. It was so clear from the photos and videos that Hugo truly trusted her - he looked incredibly comfortable, happy, and cuddly with Juliet and her family. Knowing how relaxed and content he was made being away so much easier. I would 100% trust Juliet with Hugo again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to book her if I need to go away.

Our dog went on holiday to Juliet’s for two weeks whilst we went away and we couldn’t be happier with the care he received. Those first couple of days he looked a bit heart broken, maybe that’s my projecting, but he looked right at home and could tell he was in a loving home. Before long he was clearly settling in, tail wagging and looking like he had made himself right at home. The daily photos, videos and little updates meant the world to us — we always felt connected and confident that he was in the best hands. He looked loved, safe, and genuinely happy. If anything he seems slightly sad and missing his holiday family now. We’re incredibly grateful for the joy and comfort she gave him, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Juliet again.
