We had a very stressful and disappointing experience with Juliet on Rover. We dropped our dog off around 2:30 pm on Friday, and while she didn’t let us into the property (which we initially accepted), we could hear multiple dogs inside. Our dog’s profile clearly states she is not friendly with other dogs, so this immediately raised concerns. When we asked, Juliet confirmed she already had two other dogs staying in her flat. We specifically chose her because other sitters had declined due to having other dogs, so this was very misleading. When we asked how she planned to manage this given our dog isn’t friendly with other dogs, she said she would put up barriers. We did not pay for our dog to be kept confined behind barriers in a flat - that is not an acceptable or humane setup. We were concerned for our dog’s safety and the safety of the other dogs, so before heading to the airport, I arranged for someone to collect our dog the following day. Juliet initially responded saying that was fine but straight after asked why we don’t have someone pick her up now. We explained that they were not available till the morning. Then, as we were arriving at the airport, she messaged asking why we couldn’t collect our dog immediately. I explained that wasn’t possible as the person helping us was at work. She then insisted that we needed to collect our dog straight away, leaving us with no option but to urgently find someone else to pick her up that same day. The situation became even more concerning when she said she didn’t have enough space and couldn’t manage all the dogs in her flat. This left us shocked - if that’s the case, why accept multiple bookings in the first place? Overall, this caused significant panic and stress on the day of our flight. It felt irresponsible and poorly managed. I would not recommend Juliet at all and would strongly advise others to be cautious.

Juliet took very good care of Chester (a poodle who was almost 16 years old). She gave him his medication every day, took him for walks, and was very attentive in keeping me informed about him. Chester returned happy from his stay with Juliet and me too.

Archie was well looked after by Juliet, she sent me videos regularly so we could see he was happy and enjoying his food :) Thank you Juliet
