Pet care experience

Your Pet's Second Best Friend

I'm Julien, a proud Ann Arbor native with over 8 years of dedicated experience on Rover and over 15 years of pet care experience. I have a broad range of expertise caring for all types of animals, from snakes to horses and everything in between. I have a silly 4-year-old cat named Bing Bong, a playful 6-year-old Border Collie German Shepherd mix named Tipper, and three lovely chickens named Envelope, Post Office, and Stamp. My special skills include medication administration and ensuring the comfort and well-being of elderly animals. I really love walks and playtime with dogs of all breeds and sizes, and am always down to hang with the cats.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Safety, trust, and a pet-friendly environment are my top priorities during walks and home visits. During dog walks, I ensure each pet receives individual attention and exercise tailored to their needs and energy levels. I always use secure leashes and harnesses to guarantee their safety while exploring the neighborhood or local parks. For home visits, I maintain a calm and welcoming environment, adhering to the routines and preferences of each pet. This includes feeding schedules, administering medications if required, and providing plenty of playtime and affection. I make sure the home environment is secure and pet-proofed, minimizing any potential hazards. Overall, whether in my home or at the client's, I prioritize creating a safe, trusting atmosphere where pets feel comfortable and cared for throughout their time with me.

Julien is the best. We were anxious about using a dog sitter for our hard to manage dog, but Julien’s calm and capable energy made the process so stress free. She communicated multiple times a day and truly made our dog feel so cared for. As a bonus, our guinea pigs and lizard loved her too. We will for sure use her again.

Julien is amazing! She left my place in great shape and of course most importantly, my pup was so happy! He ate well for her and I know he was less stressed staying at home. I will definitely book Julien again!

Daily Routine: Their feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite toys or activities, and any specific routines they follow.
