Pet care experience

Lover of all pet companions

Hi! I'm an experienced pet lover with a lifetime of caring for animals, cats & dogs, so I understand how important your furry family member is to you. At home, I have two dogs: a 5-year-old Poodle and a 2year old playful puppy, so I’m well-versed in handling dogs of all ages, including the challenges and joys that come with puppies. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide your pet with plenty of attention, care, and playtime throughout the day. I’m happy to take your dog on long walks, play fetch or frisbee, and keep them engaged with fun outdoor activities. I believe every pet has their unique quirks, so I’ll make sure to get to know yours and accommodate their needs to ensure they’re as happy and comfortable as possible. Whether your dog loves lounging in the sun or needs a bit more structure, I’ll adapt to their personality. I’m also comfortable administering pill medications, though I’m not trained to give injections. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members and offer them a caring, safe environment while you're away!

Schedule

Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to offer your dog consistent attention and care throughout the day. For puppies, I understand how important frequent potty breaks are, so I can take them out every hour or two to ensure they stay on track with their house training. I walk my own dogs twice a day, typically in the morning and evening, for 30 to 60 minutes depending on their energy levels and needs. I’ll do the same for your dog, adjusting our walks to fit their routine, whether they prefer a leisurely stroll or need more active playtime to burn off energy. This flexibility in my day means I can easily accommodate your pet’s feeding schedules, playtime, and any other specific needs they might have. My goal is to provide a loving, structured environment where your pet feels happy and cared for, just like they do when you are home.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe it's important for pets to feel secure and comfortable, so I would initially care for them in their own home where they are most familiar with their surroundings. This would maintain their daily routines, reduce any anxiety while you’re away. Once we’ve established a trusting relationship and your pet has adjusted to my care, I’d be happy to care for them in my home (if needed). In my home, i would make sure the process is comfortable for them. My home is designed to be safe and puppy-friendly, and will ensure they have space to explore. If they’re ready for socialization, they’ll have the opportunity to interact with my own well-behaved, fully vaccinated dogs, helping them gain confidence and learn positive behaviors. I would require documentation to support the health of your dog. Throughout the entire process, I’ll stay in regular communication with you, providing updates, photos, and videos so you can feel assured that your puppy is well cared for and happy.

Pets

A typical day

I like to start with fun mental/ bonding activities to help build trust and keep them engaged e.g. training games or puzzles . After that, we move on to physical activities like playing fetch, tug of war, or hide-and-seek with treats, depending on their energy level. Of course, if your pet just wants to relax, I’m always happy to give full belly/booty/head rubs and plenty of affection!
