I’m a social media manager for small businesses - all from my laptop! Flexible schedule, extraordinarily communicative, and can work from my phone. I’m an early riser, like dogs need their stimulation,I practice yoga for an hour each day. It’s actually a great way to bond with your dog to help gain quality time in their space. I’m happy to dedicate my time on a consistent or varied basis.

I’m experienced with all types, from friendly pups to reserved seniors who prefer their space, ensuring everyone feels respected and at ease. I also want to respect all of your house rules to keep your space clean and respect your privacy. With years of pet-sitting experience, I understand the unique “languages” of different animals—especially cats, who can bring a bit of sass (thanks, Ginger, my childhood orange tabby!). I prioritize each pet’s personal needs, tuning into their preferences, triggers, and routines. Before any overnight stay, I always meet pets to let them get comfortable with my scent and presence. For dogs, I focus on getting their energy out with safe, structured walks—leash on, crossing only at crosswalks, and steering clear of any distractions.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Julie, a loving, lifelong animal lover and dedicated pet sitter with a knack for keeping pets happy and stress-free. Since childhood, I’ve had the joy of caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. Whether it’s tiny, timid pups who prefer to be attached to your hip, or big, playful dogs who need a loose-leash lesson, I’ve got it covered. I grew up with cats and dogs but also learned the ropes on my cousins’ ranch in Napa, where I helped take care of chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, cows, and even horses. I’m well-versed in calming scared kitties out from their hiding spots and giving cuddle-happy cats all the attention they crave. If your pet has separation anxiety, I’m happy to stay overnight, providing treats, belly rubs, and extra attention to help them feel secure. As a vegan with a deep love for all animals, I connect easily with pets, meeting their needs with empathy and care. I’d love to make your fur baby feel right at home while you’re away.
Reviews

Julie's great! She is fun, punctual, communicative, professional, and helping my dog a lot with her loose leash walking skills. Also, it was helpful that my dog loved her immediately. She has a good sense of how to meet dogs in a way that inspires their confidence.

Julie is gentle and loving with our animals. She communicates well, is professional and punctual. We trust her completely with our pets.

Thank you so for the last minute drop in request. I know Torrey and Winston always love seeing you:)!
