I’m currently between jobs so available all the time! If you need someone to look after your baby while you’re away I’m almost always happy to help! I’m more than happy to meet a few times before you leave your little guy or girl with me so you can get to know me a bit and make sure you and your dog feel comfortable with me!

I live in a 3 bedroom flat close to Preston Park with two other lovely girls. It’s a large flat with plenty of space. When staying with me your pet would be fully involved in my life. I would take them for walks whenever they needed, cuddle with them on the sofa, and they can either be crated at night or can sleep on the end of my bed, I’m not fussy!

Information Julie W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know of any special needs, routines, or any important information you think I should know before looking after your little guy/girl. I have experience with all sorts of sizes and breeds so not afraid to help regardless of your dogs needs!
A typical day
I love playing with dogs, whether it’s letting them chase me around the house, throwing a toy for them, or giving them tummy tickles. I’ll also happily cuddle up with them on the sofa. Able to do both short or long walks depending on your dog and what they prefer! Can take them to the beach or up to Devils Dyke, I’m always happy to get out of the house!

Pet care experience
A bit about me: Hi, my name is Julie and I’m a 31 year old gal from Scotland. I moved to Brighton in August and work as a pilot based at Gatwick. I’m fun, friendly and can honestly say I’m a dog whisperer 😂 I enjoy yoga, walks in the park, lying in the sun and binging Netflix while giving cuddles to a furry companion. I’m not a big drinker so any days/nights off I have I’m usually relaxing at home. My experience: From the age of 3 my family have had all sorts of pets from dogs to cats to rats to chickens. My first dog was a Collie/Lab who we all adored until he passed at the age of 13. We then adopted Jerry, our Labrador, who is the sweetest man and it breaks my heart how little I see him these days. Charlie was our Toy Poodle who was obsessed with me (he liked girls) and would follow me around the house begging to be picked up for cuddles. And then we have Cassie, our crazy little German Shepard/Alaskan Malamute, who is a bit wild but adorable and full of love. I also worked in a kennels when I was 15, feeding, walking and playing with the dogs, making sure they were all as happy as can be without their loved ones. I can honestly say I’m SO good with all animals and would give your little pupper the attention and care they needed (and I’m sure they would give me the attention I need!!) I've looked after several dogs on another platform but thought I'd give Rover a try. I had a 6 month old GS stay with me for 9 days (I felt like a single mother but was very sad saying goodbye at the end, we had grown very attached!). I started walking a Rottweiler/Doberman every Wednesday and occasionally house sitting and ended up becoming good friends with the owner ☺️ I also had a cute little terrier come stay for the weekend, an adorable 7 month old Jack Russell cross stayed with me for a week and a 7 year old Cockapoo stayed with me for about 5 days. All of which were spoiled rotten with attention while their families went on holiday.

Reviews
Julie was trustworthy and quick to respond to our messages while we were away on holiday. It's always a bit nerve-racking being away from our dogs, but she gave us lots of reassurance and made sure we could switch off from worrying about them :) Would recommend her to anyone wanting a well-needed holiday. Thanks again Julie!
Julie was great with my dog Betty, who is famously a diva and she handled it all in her stride. Charming young lady with a great attitude. Would definitely recommend!
Julie is a caring, responsible dog sitter and has experience with many types of dogs. My dogs have included Collie/Lab, Labrador, GSD/Malamute, Toy Poodle and Yorkshire Terrier. Julie has also cared for a friend’s Staffordshire Bull Terrier. They all love Julie!
If Julie were to look after your pet, you could rest assured knowing he or she is being incredibly well looked after, and loved and cared for. Julie loves all animals and has always had pets (dogs, Maxx the cat, and even chickens). She is kind and caring, and will even stop to moo at cows 🐮
