Private Dog Hikes, Comfortable Home
When you leave your dog with me, they're becoming part of my family. I intentionally keep my boarding experience personal, calm, and low stress. I care for a limited number of dogs so that every guest receives plenty of individual attention, affection, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. One of the biggest advantages I offer is that I work from home, so your dog won't be left alone. They'll have companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to relax in a comfortable home environment with a large fenced-in back yard. I have two wonderful pets who have helped me become comfortable caring for animals with very different personalities. My 100-pound mixed-breed dog is incredibly friendly and genuinely enjoys the company of other dogs. He's well-socialized, playful, and has never met a stranger. I also have a sweet senior cat who is comfortable around dogs and happily coexists with respectful guests. Because I live with both a large dog and an elderly cat, I'm experienced reading animal body language, introducing pets thoughtfully, and creating a peaceful environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable. Schedule
I work from home, which allows me to provide a flexible, attentive boarding experience rather than leaving pets alone for long stretches of the day. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. My schedule allows for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding routines, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I enjoy building outdoor time and enrichment into my routine, including neighborhood walks, hikes, and adventures for dogs who enjoy exploring. I keep my boarding schedule intentionally limited so I can give each pet individualized attention and maintain a calm, comfortable home environment. I’m able to accommodate each pet’s normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, medication needs, exercise preferences, and downtime.

I believe the best pet care starts with creating an environment where animals feel safe, comfortable, and understood. For overnight boarding in my home, I provide a calm, family-style environment where pets receive personal attention throughout the day. Because I work from home, I’m able to be present, maintain routines, notice changes in behavior, and provide regular companionship rather than having pets spend long hours alone. I carefully consider each pet’s personality, energy level, and comfort around other animals. I have a friendly 100-pound mixed-breed dog who loves other dogs and a senior cat who is comfortable around respectful canine guests. Before accepting a boarding stay, I make sure the pets’ personalities and needs are a good fit so everyone feels relaxed and secure. Safety is always my priority. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, including feeding instructions, medications, exercise needs, triggers, and preferences. Dogs receive appropriate exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time based on their individual needs, while cats receive patient, low-stress care that respects their space and personality. I also believe trust comes from communication. Throughout each stay, I provide regular updates, photos, and notes so pet parents can feel confident knowing their pets are happy, safe, and receiving attentive care. My goal is for every pet to feel like they are staying with a trusted friend, not simply being boarded.
