House Sitting • May 24, 2026

Julie was absolutely amazing 🤩 She went above and beyond for us, and we honestly can’t thank her enough for taking such wonderful care of Cookie and Coco overnight. From the start, Julie was so communicative — she answered all of our questions beforehand and even FaceTimed with us before the stay, which really put our minds at ease. She also arrived early so the dogs could settle in comfortably before we left. Throughout the stay, she kept us updated with regular messages, photos, and videos, which we really appreciated. It was clear Cookie and Coco were happy, relaxed, and in great hands. Thank you so much, Julie — we will definitely be booking with you again and recommending you to all of our family and friends!

Doggy Day Care • Mar 23, 2026

I booked Luca for two days based on the sitter’s positive reviews and profile descriptions of multiple walks, anxiety support and engagement. While the gentleman was friendly and the booking process was efficient, I ultimately chose to cancel the second day (forfeiting payment) as I was uncomfortable with the lack of clarity regarding Luca’s care, the minimal updates throughout the day, and the sitters choice to remove Luca’s collar with ID and GPS tracker. As Luca had not previously met the two resident dogs, I expected reasonable updates on how he was settling and interacting with them. I also was not invited into the house so did not observe how Luca or their resident dogs were. Instead, I received only one brief update in the morning and a single photo at 4pm in response to my messages. At pick up I was told they got on well but beyond this it is not clear. As Luca is still rehabilitating from an injury, I want to support his safe recovery and pain prevention so interested in an honest review of his activity levels. At pick-up, I was told he had one walk on his collar, not needing to use the harness I brought and walked well—which is very different from his usual strength with unfamiliar people. Most concerningly, Luca’s own GPS tracker showed he never left the property.  When I messaged via Rover for clarification, I was initially given a generic response about their general routine rather than a specific update on Luca. Upon pressing further, it was explained that Luca had a shorter walk and his collar—with his legally required ID tag and a GPS tracker—had been removed to use the sitter's own equipment for licensing. I understand the requirement to add the sitters contact details, but to do so and remove his existing collar with ID and GPS is poor practice and unacceptable. With no photos of the walk, no mapped walk using the Rover card, and his own tracker removed, I had no way to verify his activity. Furthermore, despite me messaging specific details on his food and how much is required, all his food had been given instead rather than the portion described. Whilst I am glad he ate, and this is not a huge issue, it is disappointing that my instructions were not followed and added to my unease with the day. Combined with only one photo at 4pm and a 'all is good' update, I didn't feel reassured that his specific needs were being met or that there was a genuine interest in his care. While regulars may have a different experience, and hopefully this was a one off, I was not comfortable returning for the second day.

House Sitting • Dec 23, 2025

Julie was a lovely companion for Cashew over a long weekend! We came home to a relaxed cat who’d had plenty of affection and company which is what we value most. Julie looked after our home very nicely as well and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you Julie!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a 8 feet fenced back garden. I will follow your dog’s routine along with crate use if you use one for bedtime. I do ask for you to supply the crate so your fur baby will feel safe with his/her own smells of his own home and bedding. Otherwise we’re a crate & cage free home. We do not board any dangerous dogs on the banned list or aggressive breed of dogs or constant barkers. This also includes any of the crossbreeds (Council rules for all registered licensed home boarders) The safety of my own dogs & our customers dogs is our upmost priority. We have tall dog stair gates up in several places of our home for safety reasons and following the guidelines for a Licensed home dog boarder. Gates are shut when we answer our front door to prevent escaping or when we’re cooking in the kitchen! All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. Vaccinations record must be left with us whilst your dog is in our care for home boarding ready for emergency’s or a council inspection from the licence team.
