I do like to attend groups for a few hours on Tuesdays and Thursdsys for a couple of hours but if its not acceptable I can be flexible and not attend the time I am looking after your pets, it's not a problem. I have lots of time still to give your pets lots of TLC and attention and to enjoy fun games, nice long walks and lots of cuddles.

I have pet sit many animals over the last 8 years both locally and all over the UK either on my own, with my husband and also as a family. Our son however is now 19 so he is happy to stay home enjoying his independence from parents! I will take great care of your pet and home and can send regular updates and photos if required. I like to know information about specific behaviours and how you deal with it. If a dog do they pull on the lead, are reactive with other dogs or show agression. If so how you deal with this. Also do they have any dietary needs and what commands do they obey.
A typical day
I love to walk dogs in their favourite fun places with good smells for them to explore and give lots of mental stimulation. I enjoy playing ball with them especially footie and tug o war. I like to do activities that stimulate them but are also fun like hiding treats around the home and garden. For cats/kittens I provide a presence in the house covering their normal routine and giving companionship and love and attention.

Hi My name is Julie, I am 65 years young and a very experienced pet and house sitter in the UK. I work across many online pet sitting sites and I can care for all dogs large and small plus puppies and puppy litters. I am especially good with anxious, elderly or disabled dogs as I have experience in this area and my calm, quiet, caring nature helps pets feel safe and secure. I am very interested in canine behaviour and training and love pet psychology and the way animals think, feel and behave. I also care for cats, kittens and other animals such as ponies, horses and sheep, chinchillas, rabbits, ducklings, baby chicks and even parrots! I won a 'Super Sitter' award last year from another online site that I work from and I have many repeat bookings from owners happy with my services and excellent reviews. I still work part time in mental health and do occasional bank shifts now in between pet sits. I pet sit locally mainly now but can cover further afield if petrol expenses can be met or its a pet sitting job rather than just pop in visits. My husband Jonathan is also a pet sitter and we often do sits together or Jonathan will join me on weekends as he still works full time for Local Government. He can also work remotely in your home while I care for your pets. It helps particularly with large, strong or nervous /anxious dogs who require extra care or pull on the lead or may be reactive with other dogs when out on a walk. We are happy to both come and have a chat with you or I can do an initial assessment and then we can follow this up with a visit together I look forward to hearing from you to discuss your requirements and help you feel confident to enjoy a relaxing break away. Julie & Jonathon house sat for us again just before Christmas. This was about the fifth time we've used them. As always they were wonderful. Great communication throughout & lots of photos of a very happy whippet. Winnie even snuggled Julie on their first night on the sofa :)

Julie & Jonathon looked after our nervous whippet puppy Winnie over February half term. They came to meet & walk her beforehand & familiarise themselves with our house. We felt that she was going to be in safe hands right from the start. Over the course of the week we received lots of updates & photos & it was lovely to see her so relaxed & out & about. Julie was even on the receiving end of lots of sofa cuddles after a couple of days! We came home to a spotless house, a happy dog & 'the most delicious rocky road ever' according to my girls! We've already booked Julie & Jonathon again for multiple sits over the next 12 months. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them :)
Julie looked after our three cats at our home while we were on holiday. She did a great job of making sure they were fed and watered and had some daily company. She sent us lots of lovely updates and pictures to let us know they were all ok. Highly recommended.
