I worked in a Veterinary office for 10 yrs. I have assisted with emergency surgeries, worked the kennels, given medications (both oral and shots), I have worked with dogs all of my life. Since a young girl. They are my passion. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats. There are 1 foster dog also with me. I do overnight stays for transports, I assist in transports when I can, I have regular clients for whom I watch their fur babies. I enjoy the company, have worked with and done basic training. Although I am not certified, I feel my experiences from having animals all my life plus the Veterinary's office has presented me with the skills to properly care for animals. I have a huge yard for the dogs to play. Weather permitting, chasing the tennis balls, barking at the squirrels and just lounging in the yard or on the deck is a regular past time here. When I get up the 1st thing to do is go out and let the dogs potty. I do not leave them unattended. Then feed the cats and then the dogs. Everyone in their own special place. All the dogs I watch have their own favorite spots to eat, lounge and sleep. If they want to sleep with me, that's fine. The furniture is not off limits here. If you prefer your pet be crated for bedtime, I can do that also. I encourage bringing their beds, a few toys, blankets, whatever will keep them comfortable. A meet and greet is required. 1st time clients will receive a discounted rate for overnight stays. Also, I give free baths. Dogs get dirty, I won't send them home to with you without a bath.
