Julie was great! Kelby seemed to have a great time with the big backyard. I really appreciated her being the only client she took at that time too. Me being me (I definitely have more separation anxiety than my dog), I could always use more pictures/check ins.

Julie and her husband gave 5 star service and I could not have felt more at ease leaving my 2 senior dogs with them for almost a week over the holidays. My border collie had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer a week before our trip home and I felt like a bad mom to leave her but I knew she was in very caring and capable hands with Julie. Luka was very well taken care of with Julie. They treated him like he was a member of their own pack. I will definitely be using them again :)

Dogs make our lives better!

"Dogs Make our Lives Better." I read this quote in a book recently. I think that there may not be a more true statement. I have always had dogs in my life. Since I was a kid, I have always wanted to work with dogs, and this gives me the opportunity to care for your pooch in a loving, safe and fun fashion. Not only do dogs make our lives better, but I want ...

What Julie would like to know about your dog

Getting to know a dog and his/her behavior requires me getting to know them before I sit for them. I would like to know the dogs temperament, what sets them off, how much they bark, what commands you have taught them that I should use and how well they play with other dogs. There is a laundry list of questions that I can ask, but I find that these basics are a good starting point. I believe that there are no breeds that I would not sit for and my philosophy is that a dog is only as docile as his trainer allows him to be.
