Perfect Rover stay. Our dog loved being there. The best Rover stay she has ever had. Julie was lovely. She also sent lots of pictures and updates so we could see that things were going well. I would highly recommend Julie. She is exactly the type of Rover stay you want, you can feel 100% comfortable with leaving your dog with her.

Julie was great! Kelby seemed to have a great time with the big backyard. I really appreciated her being the only client she took at that time too. Me being me (I definitely have more separation anxiety than my dog), I could always use more pictures/check ins.

Julie and her husband gave 5 star service and I could not have felt more at ease leaving my 2 senior dogs with them for almost a week over the holidays. My border collie had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer a week before our trip home and I felt like a bad mom to leave her but I knew she was in very caring and capable hands with Julie. I'm not sure I would ...

Dogs make our lives better!

"Dogs Make our Lives Better." I read this quote in a book recently. I think that there may not be a more true statement. I have always had dogs in my life. Since I was a kid, I have always wanted to work with dogs, and this gives me the opportunity to care for your pooch in a loving, safe and fun fashion. Not only do dogs make our lives better, but I want ...

What Julie would like to know about your dog

Getting to know a dog and his/her behavior requires me getting to know them before I sit for them. I would like to know the dogs temperament, what sets them off, how much they bark, what commands you have taught them that I should use and how well they play with other dogs. There is a laundry list of questions that I can ask, but I find that these basics are a good starting point. I believe that there are no breeds that I would not sit for and my philosophy is that a dog is only as docile as his trainer allows him to be.

When Julie watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks
I referenced a large neighborhood with great walking paths and a park across the street. This is where I will walk your dog. I also live immediately next to the Highline Canal. This is a great place to walk dogs as well.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
Your dog will sleep where you feel comfortable for him to sleep. If he sleeps in the bedroom in his bed on the floor, than he can sleep there. If he just sleeps on the floor, then that is okay as well. I would like to talk about this during our first meeting so that we can make him feel as comfortable as he can.

Time I'll spend with your dog
I work a full-time job, however, my husband comes home every day for lunch. I am available to come home as well. I spend a good chunk of time in the morning with my dog. I work only until 4pm each day, and that gives me time to spend in the evening with my dog. I take my dog on walks in the evening.
